I had some lower back issues recently, that were treated by a physiotherapist using stretches and dry needling. We both agreed that much of the problem was from doing overhead presses during which I would lean back, extending the lower back. It was recommended that I do landmine presses instead, and so far, so good. I've also reverted to feet in the air bench presses as feet on the floor tends toward lower back arching.
Amazing video. My son has a weaker glute mead that he needs to develop and these are great exercises to progress from the body weight PT movements he is doing. I always wondered what the big deal of a landline is but these movements are awesome, especially for an athlete.
You have explained the execution of the exercises beautifully .Can you please guide how the landmine can be used for high intensity interval training .
Hello great video. Does it make a difference if you have a long barbell where the weight is closer to your hands or if you have a short barbell (150cm) with an extension where the weight is inevitably further in the middle? THX
Awesome array and explanation of movements. Curious though, and maybe this is just semantics, but the Cossack Squats looked more like lateral lunges. With Cossacks, doesn't the foot sole of your extended leg need to come up such that it becomes perpendicular to the floor? And would you recommend doing those with landmines or is it better to do the ones you displayed where both feet seem to remain planted on the ground?
Great video!
