The PASSION this girl sings with is ASTOUNDING. I'm a recent fan and I don't know all the words to all the songs but my goodness I need to learn. The absolute pure joy her eyes light up with when she sees people sing along (not just in this performance), makes me want to scream their lyrics at the top of my lungs when I see them

@@gothicm3rcy426 It's incredibly hard to stay on pitch if she can't hear what she needs to. It looks like she has wedges, too. I always suggest that artists have wedges to back up their IEMs when I run a show for them.
Amazing to see this again in full. I was there and she had such problems with the ear monitor but she carried on like a pro. A lot of the crowd were arses that day and dead too and she just ignored them. She was clearly genuinely excited to be there, people don’t get how big a thing it is to play at Donington when you understand the history. It was seriously cold and wet though. Fantastic gig and my favourite female singer since that day. Sorry Amy lol!
Blonde Donington is a hard festival, it’s five days of mayhem, a lot of the crowd were cold and tired and generally disinterested, ie a dead crowd. Unfortunately it happens when people arrive on Wednesday and party in the camp sites, by the time the bands start Friday afternoon a lot of people are too wasted to care. But its up to them.

Hello, I was in that ‘lamest’ crowd. It was pissing it down and had been since early morning and it never stopped. we were soaked through and freezing, I’m surprised they got the crowd they did. The gaslight anthem were on after and they had even less of an audience. It wasn’t the bands fault, but there’s only so much shitty weather any one can put up with.

Download is a slog but nothing compared to arriving Thursday morning in an empty field after carrying a wekends worth of beer up from the village, starting a fire and grabbing the bumper of a passing car to do a bit of mud sledding 😂 Imagine a pigs head being thrown across the crowd these days, the welfare tent would be full.
This was on the Sunday (after a killer performance from SOAD the night before), pretty early in the day, and following quite a limp performance from Bowling for Soup. A lot of the crowd had dispersed to go and watch Gwar, Turisas, Deaf Havana, etc. I almost forgot TPR were playing, but managed to catch the whole set. They had some serious sound issues from the speakers as I recall, though you could tell it wasn't their fault.
The Pretty Reckless-i was totally skeptical at first but these guys are the real deal. Love Halestorm too but for this performance the music was too loud. Let's hear those vocals!

This is their best show imo... Taylor is hot and a great front woman with a badass band by her side. I watch this almost every day
