@@donpula6349same but I also heard that apparently Freddy Prince Junior doesn’t want Kanan to make any post rebels appearances. I heard he didn’t like him being in tales of the Jedi and bad batch
This is such an under rated scene. It adds gravity to the lighsaber fight, proves its not just happening in ahsokas mind, hints at the force being accessible to all, gives jacen a reason to be there, shows harras trust in her son and respect for kanan And that fuckin music bro
This. Jacen's intro in the corridor? Set-up. This scene both pay-off and really good plot point, as it links to the saber fight and Ahsoka's eventual pick-up. And I like to say what Ahsoka was going through is both in her mind and really happening in the Force, and it is because it is really happening in the Force that Jacen could hear it.
I feel like this showed some good pay-off. Jacen's intro was cute and all, and a pay-of it's own (showing us Jacen in live action), but this is the valid plot reason why he was in the show - so he could show the way the rescue Ahsoka.
@@jimhuffman9434 i doubt he would. Kanan's unorthodox teachings were ultimately what kept ezra in the light instead of falling completely into the dark. I'd reckon Ezra would pass down Kanan's teachings to him. If the Order was still around they'd probably have a higher chance of falling to the dark side. Ironic how not strictly following the Order's teachings proved to be the best way to pass down knowledge. Jacen already being force-sensitive probably means he'll be a powerful light side user. Wonder if Filoni will give him any special force powers.
@@jimhuffman9434 One thing good about this “Canon” timeline, Jacen has good teachers like Ezra, who had his own special way of Jedi training from Kanan.
I'll be lying if I didn't admit this made me tear up like hell Kannan would be so proud of Jacen right now I bet he's looking down at him saying "that's my boy" 🥲
I think it's a matter of being around a Jedi for so long, and being so involved with one, has opened her mind to be more sensitive of the Force even though she can't actually use it, like Chirrut Imwe in _Rogue One._
If they were inducted in Luke's Jedi Order then I also hope they lived. No way all the Jedi in Luke's academy was killed by Kylo. There were like around sixty to almost a hundred Jedi around that time, according to legends though. It should be around those numbers in canon too.
Hmmm...🤔🤨 So from the look of this do y'all think Jacen is gonna become Ahsoka's Padawan apprentice...?🤔 For some reason it just "feels so" to me lol...
I don't think he's going to become Ahsoka's padawan. I believe in my heart of hearts that he will become *Ezra's* Padawan. What better way for Ezra to honor the man who trained and raised him than by training the man's son? I mean, Ezra is for all intents and purposes his older brother.
I wondered why his surname is Syndulla and not Dume or Jarrus after his father. Is it a Twi'Lek custom to name the offspring after the mother's surname? I don't think it is since Hera took her father's last name.
Prob something to do with Hera’s fear of her son being destined for a fate similar to Kanan & Ezra if he followed his father’s name or could have made it harder for his name to make it to the ears of Inquisitors if Jarrus wasn’t being thrown around in comms/chatter etc
@marvelstarwars__ That makes sense. I'm curious who will train him - Ezra, Luke? Seems like he will be trained in the force as Ahsoka recognizes his abilities and is tuned with the force as seen in the series.
Well technically kanan and Hera where never married, plus Hera's name has become fairly well known in the rebellion/new republic, if Jacen ever needed help being able to say he was Jacen Syndulla, [the son of general Syndulla] it'd probably be of use.
Given he's also force sensative like his human father it's likely that Kanan's DNA was just more dominant, we've seen a couple different types of Twi'lek human offspring including kids that looked pure twi'lek but had very human skin pigmentation around the face and neck.
Kanan did tell her once that the Force flows through all living things, but you have to be open to it. With Jacen being his son, she knew the possibility of him having force abilities like Kanan and Ezra would surface at some point. So because he's the son of a Jedi, she knew that he could hear and do things no one can explain and Hera opening herself to the force to hear what Jacen was talking about was what let her hear the lightsabers clashing through the waves.

Kanan would be so proud
Yes indeed his son is definitely force-sensitive
His theme plays very distantly in the background and I think I teared up at that.
@@donpula6349I was hoping for that too
As would Jacen's namesake *Jacen Solo*

Right
I got so many chills from this scene. I knew Jacen was force sensitive but this scene blew me away. Dave Filoni is doing an incredible job.
Dave Filoni will do a better job with he does a season 2 of ahsoka.

We've seen a lot more of Jacen than I was expecting.
The boy has shown impressive talent through the force, he must be trained.
Ezra Bridger.
@@MackeyBigBoy4014 Yes, Bridger must be the one to train the boy
Just dont send him to Luke Skywalker's Summer Camp 😂
Ezra will train him just like his father did

I like Jacen. He would make a great Jedi like his father.
I just hope he doesn't fall. Because Jacen Solo fell and paid the ultimate price

Indeed
0:58-1:05. Kanan's musical theme.
Jacen is strong with the force i would believe he would make a great jedi like his father and powerful one indeed
Now It’s Ezra’s Turn to be Master & Father-Figure. Just as Kanan Full Filled that Role.

Jacen is force sensitive 😊😊😊
I loved the snippet of Kanan’s theme
Jacens getting battle meditation, calling it now lol.
It is interesting how many misses that Syndulla too hears the fight. She couldn't have unless she too is force sensitive.
That or jacen was projecting what he was hearing into her head which is quite a feat it’s probably both or 1.

Kanas theme!!

Yup the force resides in all living beings to some degree. You can tell Hera was able to hear the lightsabers.

it combines the force theme with Kanan's theme

Where did you get this scenepack from?
Why does Jacen Syndulla look 100% human when he has a Twi'lek mother?
Well he has green hair which is not normal for humans. But yeah, I don't think they thought things through when coming up with human twilek hybrids.
My guess, human phenotypes are more dominant
Given he's also force sensative like his human father it's likely that Kanan's DNA was just more dominant, we've seen a couple different types of Twi'lek human offspring including kids that looked pure twi'lek but had very human skin pigmentation around the face and neck.
