    10 years..... and I feel bad about the 7 on my GT6 so far.... I am relieved now LOL
    The garage looks great! Spacious and organized. Need to come for a Stella and watch you tinker :)

    Tush: Since the 8 is pretty well sorted I am in the process of purchasing a 59 TR3. Good bones, but stills needs work. I will watch this series as I progress along with you.

      @@cheftushHopefully an “authentic” colour, not too “custom” ?
      I’d like to see Primrose Yellow (similar to the inside right now), but a black interior is probably more correct for that.
      Since the original car came in black, maybe an early 60s Jaguar grey ? I have seen Daimler SP250s (AKA Dart) in glossy grey and they were built on a TR chassis, and made in Coventry too !

    Black with a red interior has been my favorite but silver with the red is up there.

    Woo Hoo! Can’t wait for more progress! I started my 58 TR3 project 11 years ago. Body is painted and mounted on the restored frame. Looking forward to getting back to my project as well.

    Looks like a good plan Tush. That TR250 came about really nice and the TR4 you guys have used a lot. So understandable this one has been on hold. Enjoy the nice weather… the garage looks great.. I have to get my garage a little more organized.

      @@robertmorales391 thanks Robert! Yes, I’m glad we decided to get the TR4 back on the road. I bet Elin has put about 3000 miles on it since then. I’m going to get the TR250 out more next year…it needs a little work including taking the trans out to address a popping out of gear problem.

    Red interiors are beautiful if the exterior colour is complimentary and one of my favourites is a deep steel grey metallic. The two just really pop when they are together.

    I'm looking forward to this series of videos. My TR3A is stripped to the bare frame which has been painted and then everything got put on hold. I'm hoping that your videos will get me motivated to work on my car again. It's been off the road for 10 years now and I miss it. I have my TR8 to drive, but it's not the same as a TR3.

    I looked at the body when you were describing the 59 3 and looked at the windscreen mounts as they are from an earlier car ,carried on listening and it’s an earlier body ahhhh the penny dropped 😮😊😅

    Is it a good plan to lift the body off after it is painted ? Maybe lift the body and do chassis work before the body painted.

      @@markrobinson8539 I’ve done that before on previous restorations mark. I prefer to remove the body from the chassis in order to paint it….the entire tub will be painted including the bottom.

    Are the frames that much different? I'm working on a '62 and decided on using a spare frame for various reasons. It looked the same as the original.

      @@DaveHallberg hi Dave, the frames are essentially the same. Issues arise when repair or restoration work has been done poorly in the past….it takes a bit of work to make it right again.
