I've found that the older I get the more I long for a game to hook me like Goldeneye when it first came out, or the original Halo, or Sonic for the Dreamcast... But I've found that the magic I felt then just really isn't there. Not saying there are great games, but ones that keep me like those did are VERY few and far between.
There are some games, depends on what you like... Games like Destiny 2 is one I am happily addicted to on the weekends, keeps me focused on something fun and not let my thoughts run away (suffer from heavy depression).
Yeah but 9 out of 10 the average person will go straight to playing an online game. So they do their stats off of that. Now if more people went back to playing games offline. Then maybe they would go back to doing that for customers more.

I think this is smart. I dont have an xbox, so i am kind of interested in this cloud only tier. But it needs to be cheaper than normal gamepass. Almost as a trial to peak into the xbox ecosystem. But if the experience is good it is kind of an attractive proposition.

I mainly use cloud gaming on my Xbox itself. I do not have a huge amount of space to download every game off the service even though I have a 1TB expansion. My Chromebook does work ok with streaming though so I could be watching RAW and playing it. A cloud tier would be good for the casual user though, as long as it is not over $15.

Too me a while to beat it too, just keep trying. Run around the little walls and shoot when he's on the opposite side. Use the pillars to block his ranged attacks. Run while he's running and keep distance. You can find some health and ammo in the area. Took me ~10-20 tries but I finally got him. Felt good 👍

In my humble opinion Xbox already lost the Cloud Gaming battle; Geforce Now Ultimate has that covered for quite some time now. Buy a game in the store of your choice (or use gamepass if you really want) and play it wherever you want on almost any device. No need for a console at all. And in case of a MS game you usually get the much better looking PC version running everything on Ultra. No need to pay for playing online either. Of course it has its downsides too (good internet required and not all games available mostly), but for cloud gaming it is so much better than what MS is offering.

Sony got rid of PlayStation now and rolled cloud streaming into their subscription service. Now Xbox is going the opposite direction. I suppose it shows Microsoft's commitment to their cloud infrastructure.
Because they added cod to the gamepass I can I feel that’s some of the reason for the upgrade besides their greed but if they raise the price in the ball park of a prepaid phone bill I’m out 🤨🏃🏾♂️💨

Remote play is the shit literally I remember a few years ago I was playing ranked on rainbow 6 I was to poop and I put the phone stand thingy on the remote and went to the bathroom continuing my game remote play is and will always be a dope ass option as long as it's around

My cloud gaming is very ropey - cloud games seize up a LOT.
Ofcourse they want to ditch the console in the long term. They always sell the hardware at cost or a loss and make money through games and subscriptions. So yes, get rid off physical media and physical hardware and milk the consumer full through subscriptions and ads. Microsoft and Sony lost their minds!
I switched to PC. I don't pay a subscription service to play a game and to play online. I buy a game and pay my wifi bill.

Why would anyone be shocked about some rumors? What is the actual deal with that idea? Who are these people so easily shocked into childhood trauma? I got Game Pass Ultimate and that is that. We just have to be honest with ourselves and wonder what we really want and expect from a service. I read the legal disclaimer and such and I am in the clear.

I have always paid for 2 gamepass ultimates because I have 4 xboxes we use. We still havent renewed the 2nd one for over a week and probably wont at this point. Its just too much money.
unfortunately Im not rich so before Im able to afford to buy black ops 6 for $60-$70 Modern Warfare 4 it's already released which means getting black ops 6 with the game pass ultimate for $20 it seems more affordable to me that's my point of view it dosent have to be yours everyone it's different
In my humble opinion Xbox already lost the Cloud Gaming battle; Geforce Now Ultimate has that covered for quite some time now. Buy a game in the store of your choice (or use gamepass if you really want) and play it wherever you want on almost any device. No need for a console at all. And in case of a MS game you usually get the much better looking PC version running everything on Ultra. No need to pay for playing online either. Of course it has its downsides too (good internet required and not all games available mostly), but for cloud gaming it is so much better than what MS is offering.
