A mature stoner knows to respect others life choices. Judging people based on their personal decision not to smoke only reinforces your close mindedness. If i was smoking with you, id ask for my blunt back cause I know id be the one supplying. Get with it boyyyy. Shout out to Erik Argoni for doing him.

After I saw my brother cooking his brain with no end in the horizon, I went ahead and Googled this site I had been recommended “Nemery Thentel’s Weed Liberator”. Reading every single word, I got a clear understanding and noticed that I was addicted as well, being worried about myself I followed his suggestions and am finally free after a few short weeks. I hope I can convince my brother to do it as well.

This video has made me confident to quit smoking weed. Literally every statement that you mentioned was comparable to my life style at the moment. I kept denying myself that weed was the problem. I also kept denying my parents were right about my behaviour, my view of life, the way I think of school and goals in life. I have been smoking 5 years now on a daily basis, and the first 3-3,5 years I dind't realy had a problem combining smoking weed and still had fun at work, doing good at school etc.. I still finished my school and I'm studying at the moment, but it could have gone so much easier without smoking weed after all :) Thank you! Bye Bye Mary Jane :)

    • @xa4bwouters84
      @xa4bwouters84 10 лет назад

Hey man, I dind't read your comment untill today.. Sorry about that. I think we had the same problem. Everything is fine with me. Quitting weed was the most important decision that I ever made, seriously, I was growing away from the reality, absolutely had no intrests besides weed and food and indeed saw how everybody was living there lives and became actual adults. Now things are very good for me. I am clean but must admit that I have smoked a couple of times this summer at festivals but DID NOT continue the day after. Last joint was the first day of Tomorrowland here in Belgium. It's a whole new life, all those years of smoking was a big fucking waste of time! No more lies, no more drugged out eyes, I can properly say a sentence without stuttering haha. And how are you doing? Greetz from Belgium.

I felt the same way 10 years ago when I got off weed. I remember thinking how I would never smoke again and being so happy to be free. I lasted about 5 years and then started smoking weed again. I wish I could stop and have that same feeling of "knowing" I wasn't going to smoke again. My feeling now is that I have to stop weed but I don't want to.

Seb Grant thankyou for your videos, i have smoked weed for more than 15 yrs and yes its messed my life up, i am now 6 days without a smoke, doesnt sound that impressive but its a big deal for me. The biggest thing that helped me stop was by admitting to my mum for the first time i have a problem but also your vids have been an amzing tool for helping me. I wrote out the 60 resons and carry them in my pocket and when i want to score i read it and i dont buy any. many many thanks for producing these vids.

I have to say watching these guides seb has really broadened my knowledge, i know alot of people are not going to agree with you or with me on certain points But i think you nailed everything. I've watched all your videos now and am proud to say i will be passing the links on to fellow friends who are seeking help just like i was. Since i stoped smoking all i want to do is help people because the easiest way to communicate with somone is if you have been down the same path as them. Im not saying im gonna preach and force people to quit, its your own choice at the end of the day. All i can say is quiting weed was probly the best choice i ever did with my life, now im going to make it a goal to help others just like you. thanks seb your a legend.

He's right guys... weed numbs your emotions quite drastically. I used to smoke a lot a year ago and I remember never feeling truly sad or excited about anything. I would just feel like a relaxed half-awake happyness when I was high and when I wasn't I just felt impartial about most things and would often think of the next time I'm gonna get high. I'm not saying it had some kind of profound negative effect on me, the best I can describe it is being half awake at most times. If that is your thing then go ahead to be honest.. smoke all the weed you want. But honestly, if you either want a career that requires a lot of work and concentration or if you want to find some sort of passion in life I wouldn't recommend it. Anyone that tells you they are a resident med student and they hit up the bong every day after working in the ER are full of shit lol. It's not possible... weed may not be a dangerous drug, but it does have residual effects which impair your cognition and they last for months after you quit. Weed is good for a care-free lifestyle but not one that requires too much concentration or emotional depth in my opinion.

This video series has been hugely helpful. 90 days ago I got sober from alcohol, but I have still not been taking care of my main problem that has been going on even longer than my love for drinking - smoking weed. I can't wait to see myself change into a more passionate and confident person.

Weed is great I love weed so much. Thats's why I can't smoke it. I just want to smoke it all day and all night. I can't even go to a movie, I have to sneak off half way through and smoke a quick hit. It controlled my life. I don't miss it.

Thank You Brother - I found this video because I started noticing that weed wasn't for me anymore. Like most people, I did benefit a lot from it when I first started, in terms of spiritual, psychological & emotional realizations. But now that I am healthier than ever AND working towards being healthier always, weed has been negatively impacting me, because of its level of toxicity ( which for me is more obvious, now that I am generally purer than Ive been before ). So thank you for the video - I do agree with pretty much all that you've said ( including the fact that not everyone will understand or agree with most of it ). Blessings

I'm so done with weed, it's been holding me back for way too long, in a couple days I start school in graphic design, I know the only way to fully succeed there is I Gotto kick this addiction, dude weed has taken over and honestly these 2 vids totally hit home, I'm not who I should be, I've been saying these things too myself for so long but now I think I truly realise that the only way out of whoever I am right now is to quit this shit, I used to draw so much, my creativity has pretty much gone downhill ever since I smoke up. So fuck all that, from now on I wanna see the other side of me, the side that maybe isn't so socially anxious, lazy, faded, little akward, scared of stupid shit normal people see as normal things that you shouldn't stress about & being mentally locked up, thinking about lighting up all the time, it's constantly on my fucking mind man.
I don't know who I am today, but If I do manage to go through the next few months of school, work and all without smoking, I'll comment on this comment with the changes, future me you better have done it right.

everything you say is valid. your a very smart person. im 22 years old and ive been smoking daily for little over 5 years. Your list of 60 reason are for people like me, daily smokers. people who have developed a dependence. honestly i have stopped smoking for only 2 days now so i stumbled upon ur video to gain motivation for my decision to quit. so many of your point pertained to me it was kind of an eye opener, not that i wasnt aware of some of the negatives marijuana was giving me. but to have it all laid out the way you did and explained greatly. so i just want to say thank you. I hope i begin to dream more often and i will keep a journal for my dreams. i noticed you said youve began to meditate. ive recently became interested in meditation, if you could make a video on meditation id deff give it a thumbs up. thanks mate

Thank you for this video. I quit cold turkey 5 days ago after being a daily smoker (2-3 times a day) for 6 months. not NEARLY as long as some people but i am still feeling some of the withdrawal effects. I didn't originally intend to quit and was just stopping for a few days to clear my head, and when i started to feel withdrawals i thought i would wait 2 weeks, and now after seeing this video i intend to quit fully (MAYBE smoking on special occasions but not in a routine). This list of reasons has really encouraged me to pursue quitting so thank you!

This was a great video for a stoner like myself who been trying to quit smoking for years now. I really think this audio and visual of things that could help me become a better person will help. I've been smoking for 20 years straight and the longest break I quit was for 1 month in those years. I felt great too but I went right back and been stuck every since. Tomorrow is the day I QUIT SMOKING and become THE REAL ME!

Just wanted to share the fact that my life is already dramatically improving in a lot of ways mentioned in this vid and I want to thank you so much for posting this i never thought I'd say this but I will ever pick up the habit again now after you've confirmed all of this that I was already aware of but just to stoned and careless to realize. Thank you again and I want to tell someone who is quiting that u need short achievable goals , stay busy

Brain feels cloudy, confidence gone shambles, eat like a pig but cannot put on weight. personality dead, look miserable even though im now. have addictive personality which doesn't help. Got a crap grade in degree cos smoked all the way through. brain does not stay sharp consistently. Managed to stop once for 30 days with the help of this video then had one like a idiot a few months ago and it bacame an everyday thing again. Today been sober for 3 days. First night managed to fall asleep at 6am. yesterday slept like a baby at 9pm. today went bed 9pm but am still awake at 2am. previously watching this video every night in bed motivated me to keep away from a joint and look forward to a brighter future. This guy is spot on. Thought of having a joint earlier which is what i did after work everyday and did all day long on weekdays but then i thought of how i usually regret after having it and went bed after dinner. And it would break the 3 day sober then have to start from day one again. Decided to write this comment to give credit to this guy as nothing else ever made me be sober a single day previously. Its so important to me now because I've made it to management at work while smoking every evening. if i continue sober then id be able to hold more thoughts in my head and be sharper so i can move further upwards in my career without a sluggish progress. To those who say weed is not addictive - i said the same when i started it in high school. Cigarette smokers say they won't get addicted when they first start but the majority of them do. those that dont are either too broke to get addicted or have incredible will power. Those that enjoy it are happy with their life and ignorant to the fact that they are detierating. Having money all the time like snoop dogg makes buying weed as casual as doing weekly groceries. The anxiety is a killer to deal with but after a few days you begin to not give a shit and the new you feels pretty cool. Happy quitting!

BTW i got all A grades in my A levels after 3 years everyday smoking and A's and B's at schools after having smoked 1 year everyday. Try smoking weed for 5 -10 years everyday and see if you can still get top grades. Good luck!

Thank you for this video. I quit smoking weed in November 2013 after watching this video. I just thought I'd come back to give you my love and appreciation for guiding through what was a very troubling time in my life. I feel great now. And I'm proud of myself and my achievement. I say to all those who want to quit YES YOU CAN. I was an everyday smoker for ten years since I was 17, and it was like Russian roulette, after smoking, either happiness or sadness. The sadness became unbearable and wasn't worth it. This video really helped me to give up for good. I will never smoke again because all I remember are the bad times. It's not fun or cool to be addicted to weed. It's very stressful an expensive on your pockets and your life. Give up today and embrace the joy that will come tomorrow. Don't let yourself down you can do it.

Hey Seb, thanks for the great video. I have come to realize that smoking weed all day every day has affected my life a lot. every time i have a blaze i feel better about life and less stressed but then when i sober up and run out i get very shitty and my emotions run wild I also over think everything and get paranoid. all i think about is when and where ill be picking up my next lot of buds. I was really pissed off before cause i had none and had no way to get it, so in staid of sitting here angry I decided to search for help on you-tube to fix the problem properly and not just put a plaster on it by buying more weed tomorrow. i haven't smoked any weed in the last 24 hours and actually noticed i was twice as talkative and didn't wake up feeling like shit for once. I feel good about giving up, i should of done it along time ago. Another point to give up is weed can cause heart palpitation/skip beats, alot of times after having a big blaze my heart would skip a beat ever 20 seconds or so and scare the shit outa me. yet it doesnt happen when sober. thanks and subscribed.. p.s im looking forward to boning alot more woman haha

Seb, awesome article. I feel like shit on quitting day 4, i'm on vacation and have a whole ounce that I haven't touched since I decided to quit. i have been smoking weed everyday for 13 years. Man i'm trying to figure out how to get the heavy chested short of breathe feeling and anger and sadness and every god-damned emotion that slams into my soul every other second under control. I lost my mom 8 years ago at 29 and that was really when it got to be a medicine for my pain. Problem is I have someone who gives it to me basically free (hydro). Nothing really going wrong in my life, got a great wife, awesome kids, a nice house, nice cars, my own successful business and MJ hasn't destroyed any of this. I did just go through the worst Asthmatic Bronchitis of my life. Doc said quit smoking and I quit cigs two months ago and weened down on the weed a month ago, cold turkey 4 days ago. It's been so long I'm not sure I remember who I was without weed, i've always been a super motivated person, even on weed. I convinced myself along time ago, that if I want to smoke weed I have to maintain the other things or no more pot. So I'd get stoned an force myself to get up and go to work, coach baseball, help people with their bullshit, run a business I even rescued a guy from 4 thugs while I was high as hell. But I just can't live this way anymore. Now or 4 days ago if smoke I get panic attacks and guilt and can't breathe so it's doesn't relieve anything for me anymore. I just want to get to the new me, maybe i'm expecting too much on day 4 but I'm just having every withdrawal symptom and it sucks, teary eyes while I type. I hate it when I read forums where asshole say we're weak, it's natural, we're full of shit. I feel so bad for them if they wind up here where I am feeling like hell, with no real idea of how this gets better. I'm assuming alot of them can get high and be fine. I can't anymore and appreciate the insight into this process of recovery. Thanks man!

I am marijuana user, due to sleeping problems, I am orientated to science, I test and examin everything, so I did a little test on myself, being high constantly for 3 months.
I would not recommend long term use to anyone, I am very self controlled person, and I am able to quit from anything, including this (I did). After I stopped 3 month session, I did feel some adverse effects, and it might be hard for other people to quit afterwards, it would be much easier to get more weed and smoke it. Most of things in this video are right except for some personality things, and athlete thing you said (I am very fit, super fast, physically very healthy). After you quit from long term use, you actually get sort of caffeine period for like 3 weeks. But I noticed, even after quitting, my sleeping problems were still faded, and I could still sleep better, record was for whole month after last use. I have very heavy insomnia, no pills help, so that might be considerable thing about weed.

I wish this weed never had entered my life, i had really god potential in school, but wasted my time away with weed and fun, now i can't study psychology is i wanted to because i have average grades - its my own fault - i decided to smoke and game and party throughout high school, while others worked hard on their homework - damn this weed had also made my energy less almost everything what Seb Grant tells is like spot on. I hope this will be a eye opener, i really want to quit but i have such diffityculty saying no when its present. I hope i will quit soon. Actually I'm so addicted that I'm even smoking now, with the illusion that it will help calming me down or be more creative playing piano.. its just an illusion i see it now. I hope someone can send me a supportive post and encourage me to stop smoking

I have always worked , but to be honest.. Just to pay for weed.. I never had a problem and didn't see anything wrong . I never had a joint out of my mouth.. I realise now that I totally have fucked my life up.. My ex ran of with my friend and left me with my son.. I get threw life, I do all the shit.. But the only thing that got me threw the day was the thought of getting high.. I'm in my first week of giving up.. @Seb Grant, thanks a lot for all of the very informative videos that you have shared with us. I can definitely say that your videos are the most helpful, and very encouraging. I tested weed nearly 4 years ago, and I smoked excessively for the last 2 years, and my goodness! it gradually destroys your health, your pocket, your appearance, you name it!. Everything in your life will be tasteless and imperfect without it. But the truth is that weed makes it that. And every smoker must come back to reality, which is done through QUITTING!. I quit many times unsuccessfully in the last 4 months, and every try was a test. This time I am quitting, and its my day one, and there is no going back.
