Hi, if you are planning to grow anything, first you must get rid of the hogs, I have a small farm the same size as yours in Figueiró dos Vinhos, and had the same problem, every night they come in and destroy my work, I got rid of them with an electric catle wire around the land, cost me €30 and half days work, been 2 years pig free.

Hi old lad, let me guess. Castelo Branco county. I would knock it down and start again as look ripe. I bet it was very cheap, as you will find it difficult to grow anything in mid summer for the heat and lack of rain. You are English, but not the wife as she seems oriental to me, but been in U.K. sometime judging by her level of English and she looks much younger than you, don't panic. Mines the same as I keep loosing then so always get one a bit younger in order to last me out. I have been here 4 years in the next county north where is a bit wetter, but still bloody hot in summer. So if you need too ask anything feel free. You have one hell of a job on there and wish you luck with it.
Just watching some more of your travels, so Jen is from the Philippines, snap as my wife to be is also from the Philippines, but having problems getting a visa just mow as since Brexit, Brussels has put so many obsticles in the way that I reckon a lot of would be tourists won t nother coming and will holiday elsewhere. Mine is 23year younger than me, so hope this one lasts me out.
@@anabengalinha4049 Obviously you have never herd of the Anglo/Portuguese accord, which has bugger all to do with Brussels yet they stick their noses into it as if they are in it. I have been without a wife for over 3 years, not very nice. I suggest you read it before passing comment. Then you will know what I am talking about.

What were the two trees, do you know? It looked like they had some residual dried fruit on them. The property is already looking cared for.
We think they are quince trees but we are not sure.
