Good job fitting that door and it was a great price !
The old door like many all over the country can be used on a farm storage room or chicken coop,or just try to sell it on marketplace i guess...

Thank you. We thought it was a good price too.
We will find a use for it somewhere.

Hello, been watching the channel since your arrive to Portugal. Great job and effort to renovate the living space. Our country is very humid cold in the winter and can be unpleasantly hot in the summer, so insulation is a key factor. Yeah, there's a lot of old houses in Portugal and the new generation don't want to renovate them. Or because these lands belong to people their families emigrated decades ago and their kids don't come back to Portugal or migrated to the coastal cities. Anyway great to see the transformation of the house and hope you enjoy our country we are good welcoming people. Big hug ✌️☮️

The garden room will soon be very cosy and comfy with all the insulation and nice new door. You're really getting a move on, well done. I enjoyed the rides too, lovely houses and lush green countryside. Happy Easter both.

We are neighbors of sort, we finalized our home purchase in Arega on March first. And have made the trip to Tomar at least 3 times ourselves most times on the route you took. We really enjoy our time in Tomar the town has so much charm.

Good thing you didn't touch the poor fire salamander, quite toxic it is. Wonderful you rescued it.
Terrific door! Good work, you and Dean. The render looks great, too.

Use the farm door as a table top. Make a frame out of wood - from your land? Seal it and paint it.
Or if you get a piece of furniture that has a bad top, replace with metal from the door 😊

Turn the old door into a bench for use as a potting bench for your garden .

Everything is taking shape. You work so tidily aswell which is good. We enjoy your videos as they are short, but have variation......otherwise it gets boring. Really enjoyed the road trip out and seeing the local area - more of this when you go out please 😊

Those Doors are only for a outside building like shed or garage the Portuges used wood for their Houses like your front Door 👍👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We have noticed some Portuguese houses use wooden doors like ours. We'd like to use UPVC for ours.

Better check with local authority if you can The front is in Full view and might get scrutiny from locals Best of Luck 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
