The actor who portrays the coach on the sidelines at 6:00 is the the same guy that Superman gets "revenge" on in the diner at the end of Superman 2.
😁👍
At 6:54 you can see Allan Graf, a stuntman and Hollywood's leading football coordinator. He played for UCLA. He often played henchman roles, including in Robocop and Total Recall. Some of his more memorable parts included a hunter in a coffee shop in Boogie Nights and an abusive husband who gets beat up by Russell Crowe in L.A. Confidential.

What was really unbelievable wasn't that the Hulk actually existed but that the Browns were actually winning the game up until then.
Lol
The browns had 8 championship wins before the super bowl era
That was Memphis, didn't you hear the announcer... and they weren't playing Chicago... that was the LA Cougars
Talent scout watching the game: "We GOTTA sign THAT guy..."
One of the greatest TV shows ever.
I!Agree With You About This One!W.A.M.!
This was the worst marvel shows of all time it’s not based on the comic book, show was super cringey

Hulk = The ultimate offensive lineman 🏈💪
Would seem like a waste. Hulk would be running over offensive lineman
Hey, "Strongest One There Is".
what I like about this scene is that the hulk knows how to hold back his anger, he could have killed Tobey but didn't, in a way he teaches Tobey to do the same.
I can just imagine some dude getting high watching this in the crowds right now. "Dude. This is the best game I've seen in years."
Hahahahaha!
Goal!!!
😆😜

🙀🤣😂
David, like always, was so brave in this scene in trying to get to his friend to help .. He climbs a fence with barbed wire on top.. I'm just not sure , even if David had gotten on the field if he would have been able to convince anyone that Toby needed to leave the game, even if it was for the best...
In case there's some WWE fans out there, did you see how Hulk give this dude the iron claw right through his helmet??💪
It's hilarious how the hulk ran through Times Square in the most famous city in the world and was also seen here by 75,000 people in attendance and probably millions more on national television (given how big a sport football is) and yet whenever the hulk showed up afterwards people were like "what is that thing" and looked at him as a myth that doesn't exist lol
6:43-7:02 Hulk showed Tolby what anger really is
No he wasn't angry just wanted to have Toby give up his pursuit of violence once he did the hulk stopped
Here comes the Hulk the green running back 😂😂😂😂😂😂
So Hulk carried basically Dick Butkus for a touchdown, taught him a lesson in sportsmanship all while Daisy Duke watched from the stands. Pretty epic
I remember watching that game in TV back in 78, damndest thing I’d ever seen. Big green dude just ran on the field and started beating all the players up
Toby was actually about 6ft4 235lbs and seeing the hulk over power him so easily really shows how strong he is
He bent the goal post from its base with one hand! He’s easily a million times stronger than any of those men on the field.
@@elenrico7939 first baseball and now football the hulk must really love playing sports 😂😂😂😂
Lou Ferrigno was incredibly strong in real life too. He came fourth in the 1977 World's Strongest Man contest.
The actor was also in the episode where David is paralyzed and Lou picks him up too in that episode
This gotta be the strangest, funniest, crazyist episode in tv history
From the moment the fan in yellow threw the bowl, the camera zooms in when you hear Toby Toby Toby, to the same guy realize that Banner is the hulk and says, "oh my God " were the funniest moments in a hulk scene
The Jets should draft the Incredible Hulk. They need all of the help that they can get.
Hahaha 👍 hell yeah
Lou actually played for a bit - he quit because he didn’t want to hurt people
That'll take "Gang Green" to a different level 🤣
If Memphis doesn't get him first😁
Texans need em lmaoooo
Hulk can throw tanks, catch rockets, withstand explosions. On this show, he can run in slow motion, carry a guy over his shoulder, and bend a post.
I think Hulk earned MVP for that game.
Come on man, At least one of those men at that table should have see David when he turned into the Hulk.
They were fixated on the match.
But, they should have realised it was David that changed from Hulk's positioning and the fact he threw his shirt down.
@@Longlostpuss they were too drunk to notice
There were a lot of times where people should've known that David was the Hulk. They did have a few episodes where people find out who he is, threaten to turn him in, and don't. Not everyone was oblivious

So HULK is seen on a live football game. Metamorphosis occurs in a room with witnesses and Jack McGee is called a quack for believing in the Hulk? Doesn’t add up. Surely a stadium of fans witnessing the Hulk should be enough to prove the Hulk exist.
I get your point and makes sense. However, it's said that around 70 thousand people witnessed a miracle of the sun at Fatima, Portugal (and there are photos of people allegedly witnessing it) and still many people don't believe it or explain it away.
People have short memories and forgot about it and there was no social media back then. Not even cable tv. Just tabloids which is what the national register was.
@@willisapril WRONG AGAIN, i had cable in the 70’s and ESPN started in 1979. Walter Cronkite would’ve reported this to the world !
@@willisapril cable TV debuted in 1948, stop liking your own comments
Guys it's a tv show, not real life, it's not the real world, of course it doesn't make any sense of why it's not reported, lol
Remember, season 2 episode 4: "A child in need". The Hulk was also the cure for an abusive adult.
Actually, that's a 1st season episode.
@@Optimegatrongodzilla Clever.
@@Optimegatrongodzilla Hulk is lucky that Camcorders/smartphones didn't exist back in 79.
@@scottylewis8124 Yeah. But, I guess that with this version of the character, it makes sense that, even with all of the witnesses who've seen him, people wouldn't believe that he's real, given that this version of the Hulk isn't inhumanly large in size & muscle mass and could just be a human made up to look like a monster, which is, out-of-universe, of course the case.
@@Optimegatrongodzilla wow
The Hulk would be a great offense lineman.
Hulk at the end when Toby trys to go back on the football field he was like “no your not playing nice “lol
If it wasn’t the Hulk lifting that guy with ONE HAND I wouldn’t believe it.
It's kind of impressive for Hulk to remember this scheme, escape from detention, run around an entire stadium, identify the person he needs to stop on a crowded field where you can't identify anyone's face, all within a few seconds. Normally he simply appears and knows he is supposed to beat up the guys around him.
Because banner knew where he was and that was hulks instinct the hill runs off what banner was trying to do or think
Yeah I don’t think this Hulk had an alternate personality then Banner like the other Hulk’s did. I think he just has some awareness suppressed. So as along as Banner knows who is supposed to stop and what that person looks like then Hulk will to.
Hulk is good with numbers up to 99 but never that good with calculus
In this version of Hulk in particular the Hulk always knew what or who banner was focused on when he turned and knew exactly how to get to that place or person...always. If minions and henchmen happened to be in the way well.. Hulk smash!
Lou Ferrigno had the best job here. Just get painted green and go around making some noises.......
Ferrigno looked Extra Leaned out in this particular episode. He was 6'5 and normally weighed around 275-285. He looks like he weighed only around 260,possibly 255,in this episode. I used to follow bodybuilding quite a bit back in the day, so I'm still rather perceptive in that regard. My guess is that Ferrigno temporarily lessened his bodybuilding and increased his cardio workouts, and did some extra running amongst his cardio workouts, specifically for this particular episode.
@@robertdecker146 highly doubt he did extra running. Most likely just chicken, broccoli and rice, along with the special pills....
Lou Ferrigno never did his own growls or snarls, they were done by Ted Cassidy in seasons 1 and 2 and then Charles Napier in seasons 3, 4 and 5.
@@robertdecker146 💯 spot on! Lou looked a lot bigger in the very first season compared to the later ones where he is leaner.
For each day he is in a scene he had to sit for several hours for the special effects team to apply the costume on him. The makeup and latex hinder perspiration making it very uncomfortable under the lighting used while recording.
Seriously, if Hulk were to become the MVP of the NFL, there’d be no way ANYBODY could stop him. ‘Cause, you know, he’d get stronger every time he gets madder and everything, of course.
I would just assume the HULK was a crazed Eagles fan.
Lol
7:32
Hulk: Take a time out kid.
"Killer Instinct" a Pro football player suffering from transference aggression tries to hurt a player on the field one of the best episodes
The Hulk should have saved himself the trouble and just punted Tobey into the endzone.
The Chicago bears hulk was late for the game lol 😆
They used Bears footage with Butkus being used as Toby. Butkus WAS the Chicago Bears' Hulk.
OK the hulk just appeared at a the national football game. Wouldn’t this be all the proof McGee needs that the hulk exists?
The show always had continuity errors.
It was blacked out. Seeing is believing. 📻
7:31
Wait what's the Hulk gonna make him do, in front of everyone?
...well that's one way to teach him who's the boss. LOL
At 7:07 the hulk is like, "Go away, little boy. You're a pest."

The older of the three commentators was also one of the ringside tv commentators, in the early Rocky movies, I believe.
Oh yeah, Stu Nahan, he was a great movie announcer, should have had a real career as an announcer, very good voice.
Yes Stu naham

Old school hulk made touch down lol 😆😂
Indeed he did and with a human football.
The only thing wrong with this video is there's no Memphis team in the NFL.
Everybody on the football field tries to take down the Hulk, but he merely stiff arms them aside.😄😄😄😄😄😄
And judging by the uniforms that both of the teams had on, it looked like an actual game between the Chicago bears and the Cleveland browns lol 😂
@@leighwright3450 Not likely. A game between the Bears and the Browns would have either been played at Chicago's Soldier Field, or Cleveland's Municipal Stadium.
@@leighwright3450 actually, it was.
@@MadAngel209 that's what I thought.
The Hulk was so easy on the bad guys. Today there would be blood and violence.
It's sometimes comical from what makes him transform. There's no way that bowl would hurt that bad lol
He was already extremely agitated, and the show makes it pretty clear that when he’s at that level, even something as small as dropping a cup or suchlike can send him over the edge
@@naedanger123 I can sympathize with that.
Thanks for the upload! That's one of my favorite episodes. The Hulk takes on the L.A. Cougars and John Tobey. At 6'4"and 230 lbs, John Tobey was no match for the Incredible Hulk. He was still one hell of a middle linebacker.

It's really The Chicago Bears against The Cleveland Browns.
Looks like a summary of the Packers/Bears rivalry. Packers could use the hulk as some kind of mascot since they are both green.
Lou is the chosen one he is my favorite person
Outstanding 👍👍👍👍
Yes outstanding indeed
1:14 The security guards don't even bother to cuff him. He has Banner in one of those "Come Along" holds and just marches him right upstairs and locks him up in the drunk tank. It never ceases to amaze me how fragile Banner is. He gets hit in the shoulder with an empty bowl and from the way he yells out, you'd think it was a hundred mph. fastball.
It's a good thing smartphones didn't exist back then.
The hulk interfering in the game is the only way the browns could have had a chance of winning against 'Da Bears !
The Hulk would be a One Man Football Team.
It’s crazy how he made a barrier with the field goal.
The Incredible Hulk was Super Bowl king 👏🙌
I think what pissed off Banner mostly more than always getting beat up was that snooping news reporter, McGee.
I think it was more frustrating for David when he was unable to help the situation in front of him and help people he cared about, more than his own pain when he was tortured for trying to help... He always put others first... but yeah that McGee was a pest!!
I wonder how long it took for Lou Ferrigno to learn his lines ?
Another thing wrong with this video is that the alleged "LA Cougars" team is wearing the uniforms of the Chicago Bears, and the 'Memphis' team is wearing the uniforms of the (original) Cleveland Browns.
I notice it to.
I know right.
Do a little analytical thinking; It's just a show and it was done in the 1970's. It was much easier just to used C for Cougars and the Cleveland Browns ( believable for Tennessee ) and used the already filmed footage. I really get puzzled why some people nit pick every single solitary thing about a show.
Yep
And they're playing at Los Angeles Coliseum in La😂
Even daisy duke was there to see the Hulk
THE HULK IS ON THE FIELD!!
Why were the Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns playing in the LA Coliseum?
Super Bowl XIV
Hulk must have had money on that game.
Man, that little peanut dish hitting him in the shoulder must have really hurt
He had already wrenched the joint right at that spot, so even such a small jolt might indeed have been painful...like jabbing ligntly at a fresh bruise.

The Chicago Bears could use the Hulk and even a player like the number 51. Can they flourish in Matt Eberflus' scheme?

I got to get tickets to see this
"I told you to...OH MY GOD"!!
They must have gotten special permission from NFL Films to get the clips for this episode!
The LA cougars, are they serious, looks like the Chicago Bears to me.
So 70,000 at the stadium people plus a nationwide TV audience saw the Hulk on the field and no one believes Jack McGee that the creature exists?
