Brother have you noticed a difference in power since deleting the cats with the new headers? And what SAI stand for?
@@Louie90s yes, likely another 30hp and more torque! SAI = secondary air injection. Car is most likely sitting around 525 at the crank now 😎
@@PantherBlackAudiRS you really feel the difference I bet now, did any draggy runs, like a street 0 to 60?
@@Louie90s yes check my other videos, I have done a few 0-60’s on DRAGY!
That is just pure eargasm there. Such a beautiful sound, and the rowdiness... *chef's kiss*
Sounds sooo good man i can only imagine how it sounds in person during a flyby!!👌👌
Thanks! I haven’t heard it myself outside the car yet, but from what my friends have said it sounds CLEAN and MEAN! The upshift and downshifts cut the air with the low frequency, lots of BASS!
4:00 best feeling in the world, love an entrance ramp with a little traffic to speed by
As a fellow RS5 owner, I really thought you were going to pull into the gas station there at the end. Great smiles per gallon, not miles per gallon.
LOL I would have ... but Shell only carries 91 octane (albeit it's great gas)! The car is definitely thirsty now with these mods, WOW! I like putting in 94 octane here in Canada for a little added protection and performance ;)
1:02 moments like this would be perfect with a burble tune (for me). Rev it up and get a nice little *pop pop*, nothing excessive.
@@Snail2G the Stage 3 with supercharger has burbles on decel, it sounds sick.
@@PantherBlackAudiRS that's cool, but too much mods for me just to get burbles, haha. I'd do something like a JHM stage 2, exhaust, intake, and burbles. Rest would be aesthetic and suspension/tires.
Sounds ace, do you have any Dyno figured to show how you got to the 500bhp mark? I've for an Rs4 B8.5 running 446 😊🏴
446 hp is good and real
Unfortunately Dominique is living in the past lol. Over 5 people have dyno'ed with just a simple catback and JHM Stage 2 tune and made 483hp at the crank. (that includes new injectors and a carbon clean). That's without a 2.75" exhaust, no LWFW or lightweight pulley to free up more existing engine power, no catless race headers, no updated stage 2 tune etc.
In Europe they haven't had a good tune or REAL hardware for over 10years. BUT, he loves watching the videos. He'll eventually change his tune if he actually wants a fast RS5 :)
Lots of dynos and figures in the RS5 Facebook group, keeping digging, you'll find what you're looking for: facebook.com/photo?fbid=3619655484826650&set=g.2061524404142551
@@PantherBlackAudiRS fire up the links for the dyno figures. 483bhp at the crank is decent.
I dont have an RS5 rememeber I have a real audi... a Wagon 👍🏿
Where do you live bro? This looks like Calgary
Sounds great!! Can you suggest top 3 mods to do for a stock RS5? I'm thinking Stage 1 JHM tune, JHM 2.75" RS5 Race Headers and maybe some lowering springs. Appreciate the input!
JHM 2.75" Exhaust = $3000
JHM 2.75" Downpipe + X-Pipe Combo = $1500
JHM Stage 2 (not stage 1) includes transmission and engine tune = $1500
RMR Transmission Cooler = $1500
The above will get you +50 horsepower and is the best bang for your buck. The Race Headers are 1000 (AND AMAZING) but you have to drop your engine so $$$ labor
@@PantherBlackAudiRS Thanks mate, isn't it better if I get the full Exhaust - Full - 2.75" Performance Exhaust - Valved - Downpipes and Cat-Back, for $3399?
@@TheSniperz09 yes get both, that’s a great price! I paid more than that!
@@PantherBlackAudiRS does the exhaust ordering go headers -> DP/Xpipe -> Full exhaust? Guess I thought the "full exhaust" would've included the DP / Xpipe combo.
@@nicholasgreenwood8281 you got it! No, JHM sells the catback and downpipes as two separate pieces, or you can buy the “kit” that included both.
Very nice set up, the way to go.
Can you get the power figure with just the Decat. I am worry it will be too loud ; I already have loud with 964 decat & cup pipe.
Could you share the new torque power and at what rpm ?
Thanks
The decat added around 20-30db of volume - so it made it substantially louder (with more burples on downshifts), but I can close my valves and it quiets down over 60%. It's tough to say the exact hp figures from the decat, but from what others have shown, it has dropped the EGT's substantially, allowing for more power. Rough estimates, I would guess around 15-25lb ft torque and 20-30horsepower from the new tune and decat alone. I also added the lightweight flywheel which really helped with mechanical acceleration and freed up wasted power.
@Panther Black Audi RS5
Thanks for your reply. I am very very interested in doing this modification,
In other words, from the standard car you gained 20 from a first remap and another 20 from the second mod with the decat, for torque and top end.
Is that right ?
Are you running other mods on your exhaust ?
Can you pass emission easy ?
I guess the light flywheels make difference, did they had issue remapong with the AC ON, it was a nightmare on my manual 964.
Many thanks
@Panther Black Audi RS5
I am also thinking AT power , shaftless throttle bodies.
@@konstantinmoraglis5300 we have no emissions testing where I live, however, there is no CEL as the tune remaps the sensor. I’d say 20hp from stage 1, 20hp from stage 2 (and transmission tune) and another 20 from decat and latest tune. It also freed up some power lost in the power train from the light weight flywheel and crank pulley. Torque is up from 317 to likely around 370/380. The stage 2 removes the factory torque restrictions and I believe this transmission is capable of handing around 500ish with no issues. I guess we will see once the supercharger comes out if it can handle it!
Exhaust is 2.75” headers, downpipes, and catback.
@@PantherBlackAudiRS Amazing ! If my budget permits I will do the LWF and the pulley. I know a company here in France witch is very good .
From my 964, the LWF and other similar mods will make the engine responding much faster, witch is really enjoyable at launching and hard acceleration from low speed.
Does the Decat mod send smell of fumes in your cabin ?
In term of your exhaust you then delete all the middle boxes then, the 2 small and big in the centre then ?
Many thanks
sounds identical to mine, wish i knew what mods the previous owners did.
love the car, great build but bro use your turn signals. Don't be a BMW driver in a Audi
Gonna buy full Exhaust from jhm and the headers , will I get any lights on the dash ?
Awesome you will LOVE IT! No lights, it will be 100% fine 👍
And is it much louder than stock ? Audio in video doesn’t always do it justice
The JHM exhaust is about 30-40% louder than stock. This system has a very clean and bassy sound, especially on the DSG shifts. The videos don’t do the low frequencies justice. Hard to explain but you will love it.
@@PantherBlackAudiRS thanks , also I was told that I won’t make 500 hp with the full 3400$ jhm exhaust and the headers as well with a tune . Ur certain that those things will get me to 500?
@@PantherBlackAudiRS will eventually have eventuri intakes as well
@@PantherBlackAudiRS I’m being told the jh headers are a waste of Money and gain no power and that with jh exhaust and eventuri intakes and a tune I still won’t gain 50hp.... do u have a dyno graph of after the headers where installed ?
@@austinellsi9211I went with a Whipple supercharger kit from Verstarkt. Paired it with the Armaspeed intake, JHM header mod and an inconel exhaust from Kline Innovation, engine build by AM Tuned along with an upgraded fuel system, etc. I’m pushing 680whp but I’m worried about the DSG. I’m currently looking for a differential and high performance clutch build.
100-200 kmh??
do u live in edmonton?!!!!
love it 😎
Need the build sheet. She sounds good
