@@OngVoELstuffs08 I first used a big relay for big 3 phase electric motors. This worked too. But the switch times are not fast enought. In this video i switch a 250A 1200V thyristor on the Mains, with a small relay (this relay Switches just the 3V ignition voltage for the thyristor) because this relay is small, it can switch a littlebit faster... but all in all its not ideal😅
@@OngVoELstuffs08 haha yes, but it's just for the "experimental" stage of this tesla coil. Im now working on a bigger one and the right parts are on its way🙂
Thanks!😊 i have to say, that was really sketchy to tune the circuit! And i worked almost 40 hours on it to get there. I think there will still go a littlebit more. Because i didnt tried a different secondary, and this secondary is really old and the windings are a littlebit sloppy😂 In future i have plans with other secondarys 😊
Thanks mate😇 Yeah for sure! Now im completely addicted to it, i already have New ideas and plans😄 The next one will have 6 or 8 of these tubes, a littlebit bigger secondary with a bigger topload and the staccato interrupter is on its way too😁
finally, i found someone use a relay to drive a tesla coil

@ yea, having a relay in a Tesla coil circuit is quite rare

That is really impressive, specifically with the PL36!
i had less arc length with 3 PL519s

wow! Nice work!!
Thanks!😇
Wow that's a fantastic effort for your first VTTC very good mate, I hope this has inspired you to do more with tubes in future 😎
Thanks mate😇

@@marvswelt2587 😎❤️👍
this is amazing. can you influence the color in any way?
Thank you🙂 oooh good idea! I totally forgot this😃
