    Happy memories Gary, I remember this lesson from thirty years ago! I have used the Int cycle many times along with ‘continuous refinement’ to arrive at the goal. I have a book in the loft which I’m sure was written by Kevin Mitnick (possibly banned in the UK when published) that introduced the ‘Inference Cycle’ in relation to social engineering. I’ll try and dig it out when I get rid of the wasps!
    Another great wee presentation, keep them coming. All the best to you and yours. 👍👍👍

    Hey man, new subscriber here! How do you think artificial intelligence (and LLMs) will impact cycle? Thanks a lot!

      Hey! Thanks for subbing! I think LLMs will just supercharge most aspects of it. You can tell ChatGPT your direction and ask it to provide intel requirements, then for it to recommend a sourcing and collection plan, write reports. It’s gonna be awesome!

    hi... do these steps change forms or sequence for different types of intelligence? and what are some of main types of intelligence according to you..? Thanks

    • @theGaryRuddell
      @theGaryRuddell  Год назад +1

      Great question. The steps don’t really change. Some governments do slightly different steps but they are largely the same.
      Different types of intelligence are:
      GEOINT
      IMINT
      ELINT
      MASINT
      SIGINT
      HUMINT
      The list goes on! I’m sure there’s a Wikipedia article for it!
