I've met his parents a couple of times now (once at my auntie's wedding and the other at my auntie's father in law's funeral) and you can see where he's gotten his manners from, they're both lovely people. :) I saw him at said funeral though but never talked to him.

So when he says he "never went to public school," he means he DID have what we Yanks would call a "public education."

I adore the English actors, they are dignified, intelligent and well-trained, they stay within their limits as actors. You will have to look far to get a big mouth, full of himself British actor..there are, but they are sparsely seeded.
Jane is a superb writer a genius to have written those stories. So well acted too Kingsman both were far better than James Bond. I absolutely loved them both.

I regularly watch the stunning apocalyptic fight scene from KINGSMAN: SECRET SERVICE. No matter how many times I've enjoyed it, it always takes my breath away.
He's a talented actor, but I doubt he could carry off the callousness required of Bond. There's different versions, but the original character was a very cold fish.

The part about the in-laws, reminds me of one of my professors. He spent almost 20 years as a teacher in S. Korea. He and a Korean colleague stepped into a taxi, Dr. R gave the directions in Korean. I do not speak Italian but I'm very much used to hear the language 'cause down here in Brazil there is a lot of folks with Italian ancestry. And I'd say Colin's Italian sounds veery good.

The Kingsman series is awesome. Should have stayed in England though. I couldn't wrap my head around the "American counterparts". As an American, I know British spies are cooler. (Even if they are Scottish. I grew up on Sean Connery's James Bond.)
