This actually sounds like the theme song to a low-budget saturday-morning cartoon series from the late 80's. I'd totally have watched it, too.

Two years after first hearing it, I am still disappointed that "Dinosaur Warfare" (also by Victorious) is NOT the opening to an 80s saturday morning cartoon.

@@sebking7902 Sure but Gloryhammer has had a lot longer to polish their skills and sound. The kids in this band have plenty of time to improve their sound.
Chris Bowes actually knows how to write a different song on occasion (just look at their impeccable album closers). Victorious's songs have no real deviation or experimentation: they're if DragonForce cut their songs in half and were what the memes said they were. Victorious isn't unenjoyable to listen to, but I only listen to albums because they're on prime music and can fill a half hour.
Thank God Almighty we're getting a new Helloween album next year.

Who cares if another band already did a song on a similar line? I still want to hear Victorius' version of it as a proper album, should they ever be inspired to compose it. I'll give the NSP song a listen to see how it sounds, but I say there's plenty of room for more than one song about such outlandish subjects.

Japanese all-female steampunk metal band Fate Gear just released a cover of this...did it justice, too.
This rather fittingly feels like a cross between Sabaton's "Shiroyama" and Hammerfall's "Bushido"
The little riff in the chorus just after he sings 'He's a super sonic samurai." is sounding very similar to Sabaton's song.

These guys must be geeks and anime fans. As a fan of anime and an admirer of Japanese culture myself, this is very appreciative. I'm a metalhead and a geek, and proud of it.

Ok so, why is nobody commenting how cheesy and glorious the anime fight with the super sonic samurai was? Near the end of the battle, Angus calls for aid and the Hootsman descends from the sky and pulverizes Super Sonic Samurai into liquid dust.

my headcanon is that the leader of the samurai forces, at the moment of his death at their glorious last stand at Shiroyama mountain was teleported into the future and modified to become a cyborg killing machine of justice
