While I had to get used to Conti's voice (and also missing Chrileon) and wasn't as charmed of it in the first song, it really shines in this song. His soaring high vocals in this song makes me feel like I'm atop of a dragon, flying over mountains.
Having known him before he joined Twilight Force, I was thrilled when I heard he'd replace Chrileon. Listening to his stuff in Luca Turilli's Rhapsody blew my mind a few years back
if a powermetal song can make it happen that you feel like that while listening to it, it definetly is a true powermetal song.

They certainly have different styles to their voice, but Conti fits in Twighlight Force just fine. I do miss Chrileon though. I wonder what actually happened between him and the band. I can't seem to find any report with specifics.

Stratovarius, Gamma Ray, Helloween: Power metal which is out of control awesome; perfect! I like the joke power metal bands but power metal has sunk to new lows of derivativeness. Whereas in the past we had bands like Thunderstone or Morifade as derivative mimickers, we now have this stuff which while catchy as hell doesn't give you the same feeling of power and glory. Just listen to Stratovarius - Freedom, still has the cheese but when you listen to the song and read the lyrics you feel something more than just dumb in-my-parents-basement-playing-videogames humor. They've got a bunch of fucking dolphins on the cover its not like they were taking themselves too seriously, just more than this.

I found Twilight Force about a week ago and the music has enriched my life so much. I think both vocalists rock.

I think that was just the mix on that song, it was a great song but Alessandro sounded like someone tapped a pillow over his mic, honestly HoMM had similar mix issues too so it would be nothing new.

Some Metal Nerds crossplaying Lord of the Rings, singing in an ultra high pitch and a guitar solo that slays the dragon... This is some of the cheesiest Power Metal I've ever heard...

I was concerned because of the Alessandro voice not matching the band style, but with this song he showed us the true power of the Dragonstar, a power we didn´t know in the past.

I read a quote from Chrileon, that the reason there was no dragon in Flight of the Sapphire Dragon was that they couldn't afford the effects. "You can't afford a Ferrari from playing power metal", I think is what he said.
Looks like they managed to get one... it's a shame Chrileon couldn't be there to enjoy it.
Why did he leave? I Like Conti more but why did he leave?
@@Celatra He was kicked out. There's been no official comment on exactly why as far as I know. The post declaring his leave was extremely harsh, saying he had no contribution to the production whatsoever - they since backpedaled and said they meant he did not write any words or orchestrate the songs, but it was clear that it was not amiable. Chrileon (well, more accurately his real name Christian now) confirmed that it was not friendly, he is friends with some band members still but not all, and otherwise says that it was fairly abrupt but chooses not to try and defend himself and stir up drama.
You can find the quotes online if you want, but there's really not much to be gleaned from them. Christian is now the vocalist for Northtale, so he's not out of the music industry. Ultimately, the answer for why he left is "I don't know", and we may never get a better answer.

I see how the song could be amazing. But i am all about vocals and... its sad.
Okay, I've never really been fond of Conti's voice and therefore couldn't enjoy Luca Turilli's solo projects and the likes of that.
So I was very disappointed when I heard that he was the new singer for my beloved Twilight Force, but when I heard him sing Battle of Arcane Might I actually did like it very much.
This song sounds just like I was expecting after hearing him perform with Twilight force.
