  • Here are a couple beginner exercises for using the rattan ring or jook wan. Use these drills to help improve your Wing Chun.
I am a nomad traveling the US in my RV in search of new adventures. I started training Wing Chun in 1993 while I was in the Marine Corps. Since then I have trained under 2 Sifus. My first Sifu is Les Clements under the Moy Yat lineage. After only 2 years with him, I moved to Oregon & started training under Sifu David Leung in the Ho Luen lineage. While under the guidance of Sifu Leung, I have trained with several well know Kung Fu masters & have taught hundreds of students the art of Wing Chun. Join me as I give basic instruction in the fundamentals of Wing Chun.

Special thanks to my Sifu David Leung and my entire Kung Fu family

Sifu , That was Great 👍! I have a make shifted Rattan ring & tried ordering DVDs from Amazon, they don't have any available at this time, nearly got ripped off by ordering via eBay. Yours is the best of RUclips channels because you really keep things at a beginner's level. So my tutelage we'll begin with your exercise. Thank U Sifu 🙂🙏

Hello, I like your video a lot. You make the movements so that I understand it to some extent.
I just started ring training and copied your movements.
It takes time for my movements to be good.
I hope for more videos with the ring. 👍🤗
