nice reaction harri.... this was the first postmodern jukebox i saw and still one of my favorites. it does excellent job of representing the overall experience of what pmj does so well. not just the excellent vocalist, musicians and arrangement but meticulous implementation of "vintage" character though their outfits, expressions, movements and setting that virtually transfers you back in time. its also great how each of the women are unique in vocal attributes and styles yet can then also harmonize so well together... in addition, the dual bass play was very creative touch and notice how it ends with the bass getting the last word.... well, because its "all about the bass" postmodern jukebox is great but as you noticed haley reinhart is the exception here. she really is extraordinary. her pmj cover of "seven nations army" takes sultry next level as she stunningly brings the real jessica rabbit to life, but I would also highly recommend some of her solo work. her fun jazz duet with jeff goldblum "my baby just cares" (ruclips.net/video/3ipXA9lJzc0/видео.html ), her very intimate performance with her dad at chess records (ruclips.net/video/omtsHEs2g0w/видео.html ) and her amazing live b/w halloween themed "i put a spell on you" (ruclips.net/video/LCWwOtdf728/видео.html ) are all superb... enjoy and happy holidays! 😎
Scott Bradlee, the piano player, started PMJ years ago and always have sold out concerts everywhere they go. If you watch the background during the videos you will see some comical stuff going on with the other band members. At one time nobody knew what the drummer looked like because Scott always had him hidden behind the others on stage.
That was a great cover. I loved the slowed down tempo and the feeling that I was transported back to the 40's with The Andrew Sisters. The instrumention, totally enriched the performance and added a great partner to the perfect vocals. Great reaction Haley, 😂😂 I mean Handsome Harri ❤❤ Great choice Dave. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada ❤❤🇨🇦🇨🇦
Fun fact: Ariana Savalas (girl on the left) is the daughter of Telly Savalas from the original Kojak series in the 70’s for those of you who are old enough to remember that show.
Casey Abrams, the red-headed bassist who starts this off, was on American Idol in the same season as Haley Reinhart. Casey is an outstanding musician in all respects and they were something of an "item" during that season, at least as far as Casey was concerned. They are both amazing performers and both made it to the semi-finals. The blond who takes over after Haley sings is Morgan James. She is another amazing singer who I was privileged to see live last year. Her cover of Aerosmith's "Dream On" is a must see. The third woman to sing is Ariana Savalis, daughter of movie and TV star, Telly Savalis.
Loads of great fun from start to finish. I loved the cover, and I especially loved watching the video! A perfect performance by these very talented women. Many thanks, Dave, for your stellar suggestion, and to Harri for your reaction. I’m relieved I’m not the only one who calls people by the wrong name ;)
PMJ did this another time 10 years ago with a lady called Kate Davis. What's not to like: - An attractive young lady plays the double bass in a retro-style rendition of a contemporary hit, and sings to boot. Well worth checking out.
@@HarriBestReactions I think, early in the video, you were getting Haley crossed up with the original audience. We all get crossed connections from time to time. Always enjoy your reactions.
Since you sued me for using the line" Diamonds in my ears" I am going to have my girl Haley sue you for calling her Megan at least three times. All kidding aside great reaction Harri, you have good taste in music.
'Love the song, 'love the musicianship, 'love the performance: I still find fat extremely unattractive. The beaches I surfed in the 60's through the 2000s were populated by slimmer heathier women.

This was diamonds in MY ears also.
This is the first time I've heard about this group. They are terrific, thank you for reacting.
They are an INCREDIBLE band.
Haley Reinhart has also covered Seven Nation Army and Creep with Postmodern Jukebox. They are awesome.

@marybaillie8907 😂
Mary, I am glad you enjoyed this one so much. I don't have any comment about Loverboy for now, but I wish you .......The Best🤣!!!

❤❤❤
Ariana Savalas will make for a fabulous holiday trivia question. Kojak was a great series due to him.
She appeared in the Greek version of the X-Factor for the fun of it and sang when she came to Greece to get her Greek citizenship.
Ariana also has some great solo stuff, like the video "What do you wanna know."
Really enjoying these Dave, so much talent, thanks for the submission and to Harri for a terrific reaction.
Glad you enjoyed it
@HarriBestReactions Have a great day Harri , take care.
Yesssss!
This one totally messed me up the first time!
Love it!!
Indeed!

Morgan James doing Aerosmith's "Dream" is just that... a "DREAM"!
It was played and reviewed earlier this month. Enjoy!

Could not say it any better 🤩👍👏 Thank you Beezer 🎉
Thank you, Ian. It is no wonder that Harri was stumbling over the beautiful ladies' names. They are each so talented.
@ I was stumbling over the choreography 😂✌🏼
@@iandowney4630 My kind slow dancing!
@ 😂, mine, too.
This is a great cover. I think I have it on one of my many lists which I will now remove. 😂 Thank you, Beezer and Mr Best.
You are quite welcome!

PMJ has another cover of this song you should hear. It's just one singer.
It’s called All About the (Standup) Base and it preceded this one.
You already reacted to Morgan James.
My fave version - thanks!
BTW Ariana Savalas is Telli Savalas's daughter.
The first lady to sing was Haley Reinhart and you reacted to her version of Creep 5 days ago.
Hi.Thanx. I knew it was Hayley.I mentioned her name in the video.
@ yeah I should have waited until the end before posting lol

Pmj featuring Morgan James the second singer singing Dream on is worth checking out
Excellent suggestion, but it was just played and reviewed this month.
Check out the videos of Hailey and Morgan singing in Morgan’s apartment with her husband Doug playing guitar
❤❤❤❤❤
Harry, it’s not Megan it’s Haley.😂
Haley has Harri bamboozled 😂
@ Harry just got his names mixed up, no big foul.👍🏻
Harri, you're hearing (and seeing) with the best of PMJ here! Another great cover by them is "Barbie Girl" ruclips.net/video/4ReSV3CCRzg/видео.html
Postmodern jukebox did a really good cover of creep by Radiohead if you haven’t heard it already definitely worth checking out
I did that last week
@@HarriBestReactions 😂😆
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I noticed the New York New York Tribute also. I thought maybe I was just hearing things
Check out their cover of Old Town Road. 😊
Since you sued me for using the line" Diamonds in my ears" I am going to have my girl Haley sue you for calling her Megan at least three times. All kidding aside great reaction Harri, you have good taste in music.
😄😄😄
@@HarriBestReactions We are even now Harri
Watch the original PMJ version - I instantly fell in love with the singer/bassist

Harri, it would be great if you reacted to Haley Reinhart and PostModern Jukebox covering "Don't Speak" by No Doubt. (60's Style Cover)
Harri you have done Morgan James on PMJ singing "Dream On" by Aerosmith
Her names Hailey, not Megan. But, regardless she is phenomenal.
You only know Megan! You need to listen to the first singer, Haley Reinhart… start with the PMJ of her with “Creep”
Meant to say “Morgan”
Who is Megan?
Megan? Who's Megan? Did you mean Haley?
