      Thank you. They work very well. I have another video coming up where I have made a large negative rake round nose scraper from a truck leaf spring. It is very good for finishing off the inside of bowls.

      Thank you!. I'm afraid I am not sure of the second part of your comment - Google translate didn't do it very well. Sorry!

    Nice job, being able to knurl to give the epoxy some real bite is a nice touch. I was looking the other day and found it easy to get overwhelmed trying to figure out which carbide inserts were worth getting. I'd appreciate more info on the specific ones you used. Also, how have you found the tools to use? Anything you'd do differently?

      Thanks Andrew. I figured even if I messed up the knurl it didn't really matter as it was only to give the epoxy a key to bind to.
      I bought some of the inserts originally from Etsy I think but I later bought some from eBay that seem just the same. Similar to this;
      www.ebay.com.au/itm/Yantan-3Pcs-Tungsten-Carbide-Cutters-Inserts-Set-For-Wood-Lathe-Turning-Tools-/313780244724?hash=item490ec290f4
      As for what I would do differently - The curved tool for inside of vases is a little too long in the bent part and you really need to hold it from twisting. It still works though. I plan on machining a 'flat' on the bottom of the rod on all of the tools in order to give it less chance of twisting away in my hand. Not that it really happens but just to be sure.
      Something I didn't mention in the video is that the securing screw can protrude a little from the bottom and catch on the tool rest. I ground the protrusion off to make them flush.
      Cheers!
