    Love your channel and style.
Wondering why 4hrs? It's still 10:40 of light on June 22 and plenty of days they are out and about in winter.
Easterns not so much as mostly cooler winters but will still see them out on warmer days.

Hello Liam, I have a Question about Substrate. You Say to use Top Soil, Play Sand and possibly Clay. What can you actually buy that would provide a Clay in it that I could mix in with the Top soil and Play sand? I live in the United States if that helps at all. I'm so very Happy that I found your Channel. It has helped me so much in determining how to care for my Dragon and how to set up my new Enclosure. 💯👍😁

What are your thoughts on “humid hides”. Like a nesting box but all the time.

I’ve done it in the past, my bearded dragon used it but I don’t know if it does much for hydration, Judith Adams wrote a paper and found that hydration was unaffected by humidity. They literally have to drink or eat. My dragon did enjoy digging in it though.

I find that bearded dragons will also lap up calcium from a dish as geckos do, so I leave a bit of calcium out for mine.
