I absolutely love this edition! I bought a black leather version a while ago, and have been reading it to my son over the years. It's really an excellent edition, and the leather is so nice for a non-premium!
Tyndale is doing some fantastic things. The filament app is unique and very helpful as you said for an on the go study Bible. I have the personal and compact sizes. The font is outstanding too. Thank you for the review Randy. 👌
ALSO, I really love how they did the asterisks for the translation notes. It’s much cleaner than having a bunch of random a, b, c, 1, 3, g’s thrown around as you’re reading. Over time I have come to really dislike the alphabets and numerals thrown around in my text because it has sometimes confused me during bible study as to which verse I am on (the numerals) or I’ll have a harder time finding a verse number with ease cause of all the alphabets littering the text. The asterisks are more clean looking and do not resemble numbers so you do not confuse the verse numbers with them. 👍

I have the zippered version of this and I really love the quality. I noticed Tyndale makes this filament edition in the KJV translation as well, but I don’t see any other translation from the publisher in print… that I know of. I would love to see this in the NKJV (or the ESV, but I know it would be in direct competition with Crossway). I hope Tyndale expands their translation offerings cause I was really impressed with this NLT thinline when I opened it. For the price I paid for the non-leather, it has higher paper quality than my ESV thinline or personal size leathersofts.

What is your favorite translation?
I like most of the popular translations. I use NKJV and KJV the most. KJV is my favorite because it's what I grew up with and it's what I'm used to.
@@BibleBuyingGuide Thank you for sharing. I completely understand about the KJV. Until the NIV was released in 1978, most people used the KJV (we didn't have all of the options available today).
