This is pretty hardcore even for experienced Norwegian winter sailors. As a Norwegian, I think you must be a real viking in disguise. This is brave and maybe a bit foolhardy, but still beautifully done and you seem to thrive in the harsh nature. The filming and narration are, as always, excellent.

Sailing on a box of matches, while it is snowing, all alone, far up north, and diminishing the value of adventure just because he's using electronics... Just awesome... Thanks for this video and adventure. I lived in Bergen for about a year... at times you didn't have time to put on your jacket you'd get wet... than it would just be sunny again... :) what a weather...

"You can put this thing in water and also not move" omg, you are hilarious. YT algo suggested your how to sail for beginners, that's where I'm at, and I can't thank you enough for it as it didn't freak me out with the lingo or proper terminology like beam reach etc but made it easy to visualise/understand the physics of sailing.
Don't stop teaching. You are a natural teacher and the crocks are super cool. Happy adventures and thank you!

Igor, absolutely loved your video. You, my friend, are a man's man. I have backpacked all over the American west and experienced a fair amount of winter camping. I know the difficulties firsthand. Add dinghy sailing to the mix and you are off the charts! I've owned multiple Lasers, Tasers and a 505 in my youth and your film brought back many fond memories.
Though my memories are always in a warmer climate : ) Nothing in sailing gives back more feedback than a dinghy, especially a high performance one. I now own a J/28 but after watching your small boat videos, my urge to sail small has been rekindled. Keep up the good work, bless you for your efforts and stay safe. Best regards from Virginia

Thinking about doing some dinghy camping after watching your really cool videos. I wonder if you have any advice on picking a dingy. Do you have any opinions on which dinghy has the best combination of storage capacity, speed, simplicity, comfortable and can be righted after capsizing. I've sailed a laser quite a lot and it has good performance and looks like you can store things inside the hull (but its relatively heavy). We have rs zests at our school but they are very sluggish. The RS Aero looks nice and light but seems to have limited storage capacity. I could buy a laser 2 but it seems relatively hard to rig, kinda heavy to land, and might be tippy for one person (like the topaz it might capsize easier in big gusts.
