I finally decided to try this, as I thought it was so cool, however, even following step-by-step, it does the score line perfectly but it cuts every single letter of my message, it doesn’t just cut the 4x6 around the card. What am I doing wrong?

Wait...are you supposed to fold opposite of the score line? I thought the side that you score is where you are supposed to fold inward? Am I not understanding that correctly?

That’s so cool. Could you do this project on the cricut joy extra ? I am curious as to how you would score it on that though
Cricut doesn't sell scoring tools for the Cricut Joy machines. You might be able to find a hack online to make it work though!
If you needed to, you could use a manual scoring wheel and a craft cutter. Those lines that are in the grid work great for a scoring guide.
