One of 4 stations I worked at as a JSA in 65/66;being ,Geelong,Camperdown,Timboon,Allansford.I then worked at Penshurst then Hamilton before leaving in august 66 to join the loco at mile end in S.A.This is a beautiful part of the line specially thru the stoney rises.
Thank you for sharing your view of the world, as passengers we only get a "side view" lol. My brother in-law drives and teaches drivers on the N Class Loco!! Have you done Southern Cross to Bairnsdale video? N Class is the first and last at Bairnsdale Station as Vline are cautious leaving the VLocity is case of vandalism :)
Looks like a very pretty train line. I'm guessing one of the magpies at
Enjoying travelling with you. I'm glad you noted where the old stations were located as there is no trace of them now.
G'day, thanks for the next run up the line, looks like a lot of work upgrading the line for future use, great to see people on the platform, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
Thank You, Putty Cat for that nice ride once again.
I always wondered what the deal was with the carriages strewn off the side of the tracks at
Nice to see the old goods yard at Camperdown
I was at penshurst on the 14/02/66,D.C dayakso during the day the staff sections could be ,Colac-Pirron Yallock- Pomporneit-Camperdown
What are the sidings used for in Camperdown?
is that an old station at pirron yallock? Nothing like a good old country train ride. So the train we are watching here, how long will it be in service for and what happens to such a train when it is put out to pasture...does it become a goods train? Bundy wasn't on special today so just a Carlton Draught, but cheers to you for brightening our days/or nights up!
