It hurts because I never want anyone too go through this and what we as survivors go through day too day.

Well, i can absolutely relate with all 17 symptoms. And I'm crying right now, that I'm being understood exactly how it is with me. I struggled finding for a number of years what it is that never goes away and no one understands me. I kept trying, conducting researche, and studying a number of books on psychology, i could half away relate with every single disorder that made me feel am i insane? It's just my mind making things up, it's not possible to relate with or have every single mental disorder. You must be laughing, so am i. But this one particular concept covers it all. I'm so thankful. Years passed and this is today I'm able to finally diagnose that i have Complex PTSD and one thing to point here is, this is the only video that covers it well, I've watched every single video on youtube on this, but the way the speaker has covered every single area and way that affects one's mind suffering with Complex PTSD is appreciable. I Thank you, the speaker. I've got to work on it now, a new life awaits me. So as I'm in no state to afford a therapist, a psychiatrist, I'm gonna work on it all by myself, Changing the place, lifestyle, decluttering people, things. Restarting my Life. I know i may have this familiar pain drowning me again, taking away this hope that i can be helped but I'm not gonna believe it, because this is how the healing process goes. At times you'd feel like you're standing at the same place, nothing has changed, but it's your mind that is behaving that way because it is patterned, habituated, facing the repeated traumatic events, same lifestyle, same people, and as one with Complex PTSD is afraid of change, the change must be difficult for him, but you gotta believe that pain is going to be there anyway, whether or not you help yourself, whether or not you bring the needed change, but you see the other way, the pain will be there but shall not last too longer. Getting out of this trap can equally be painful as the traumatic events were. Please be patient with yourself. Because you can't expect others to understand you help you and keep reassuring you're gonna be fine. Because you know hardly anyone cares, and it's rare to find someone who is determined to take you out of this and put whatever efforts it takes, other than you, yourself. Be hopeful, because it's logical, Actions have their impact, you can't deny that fact. Right actions put in the right direction, in right the manner will absolutely have a positive impact, change would be so minor to be noticed that's where you've to be patient with yourself, because Change is there every passing day, whether or not you notice it. Help yourself. I love you.

The whole time I was watching this I was screaming OMG! That is exactly that is what I have. I have 15 of these symptoms and I feel my new therapist misdiagnosed me recently with Borderline Personality Disorder. She just graduated from college and just got her license. I do not resonate with the symptoms of BPD, yet she refuses to look into C-PTSD after she knows I have been through trauma after trauma since I was a child. She is the only one who will take my health insurance and I do not know where else to turn to get the correct treatment.

Hi, Not sure how correct the video is.
A normal person wouldn't feel some of those or all in different situations?
I thick all of them (#17 would be anyone that would be negative towards me until that person is gone out of my interactions circle), but I don't recall any trauma that would impact at such a level and never ever have I been diagnosed with any issues. Should I be worried in fact? 🤔

It's possible you forgot, or something you viewed as insignificant but your brain reacted defiantly. I'm always afraid of being called a lier because i was being accused of it constantly as a child despite me being honest; this made me hyper aware of my wording. It takes me a long time to think if the right words because I worry someone would A) misinterpreted my words or B) have someone purposely misinterpreted my wording and try to flip the narrative to make me seem like a bad person. It wasn't until I said all this out loud that I realized "Hey, this probably isn't normal" and my tharopist told me it was a trauma response. Although I have yet to be officially diagnosed, I check 13/17 symptoms. Having big gaps in your memory is a red flag as well (I struggle with that too) and could be a sign of trauma. I'm not saying that I hope you do have CPTSD, Gods no, I wouldn't put that on my worst enemy, just giving you things to think about. Also a rule of thumb for mental health things is most everyone can experience a symptom once or twice, but when it's so "bad" it impacts your daily existence like sleep, social interactions, diet, work, ect, than that's when you should look for help. Hope this helps you in some way, and blessed be❤
