I upgraded to the 150a 2 months ago and the car will just lift off right after 3 seconds of full throttle. I can’t keep mine down, but it’s fun seeing it ripping pavements. I have a radiolink radio that allows you to set the speed gradually. This helped keep the car from flying. It’s pretty neat radio. So full throttle, it pick up speed slowing up until full speed, then it flys.
@davidlee_thomas7247 Do you have a splitter or anything on it to help with downforce? I also screwed down the rear spring adjusters to keep the rear of the car up. It helps, but it will still blow over if it hits a bump or sudden elevation change.
@davidlee_thomas7247 I'm pretty sure it was at or near 100 when it blew over on that run, I had never seen it noticeably faster than the 88 it did on the previous run, its to bad the GPS fell off and didn't record.
I do have splitters install. The thing is just too fast. I do have the same issue like yours when watching you video. Those two wires have to be reversed. I contacted Spectrum, so far they sent me all new parts, like a new ESC 150a, Receiver and radio. Still same issue, sent it all back to Spectrum but calibrated, they just sent new all new parts again. BTW, I 3D printed fender covers and the before and after is night and day. The car is much cleaner. I still have a set let me know if you need it.
Thanks for sharing. I hit 80mph on the 26t pinion with 100mm GRP tires, and 86mph with a 31t pinion, but the ESC cut out. I had to turn the punch all the way down and be careful not to juice the trigger too hard, but the as we all know, the Firma 100 esc just cant handle it. I'm still deciding what esc to replace with, I only want to hit 100mph on this car so no need to go too crazy.
@cyclecats I wasn't even able to run a 27t pinion on the stock ESC. I just posted a video breaking 100. I went with the silver hoons, same size as stock, working pretty well so far.
Nice video tho. But sorry it went wrong. I wonder. I have a kraton v5 6s and want to use some Louise Mcross 3"8 tires that are 11 cm wide and 17 cm in diameter. What pinioin should i use? I know it is off-topic.
Thanks. I believe those tires you mentioned are just a bit smaller in overall diameter, close to the same size, but a little smaller. If the stock pinion is 12T, you can try a 13T, though I don't think there will be a noticeable difference on the stock pinion between the 2 tires.
@@superrocketRC Thanks:)) The tires i want to use is a little bit larger than the stock Kraton tires. About 3 cm wider and 1-2 cm "higher". So 14 or15 tooth maybe?
@tittentei7331 A taller tire will give it a "gear up" effect, increasing overall top speed. If you're primary going to bash it, I personally wouldn't go over 15t. Just monitor your temperatures when you make the swap, and that will indicate if you get to gear back down for bashing.

BTW, it seems slower than my car. I for sure mine will blow by 100+mph if I can keep it down.

@@davidlee_thomas7247 I've been wondering if covering the finders helps or not. I'll keep that in mind.

Wow!

I have the same esc in mine but can’t find a parking lot big enough to run it
Yeah, I think I've gotten too fast for that location, but it's hard finding places to run.
😊😮
😁
Man that car was moving
Yeah it was!
Put on the 20t pinion 4s
Remove extra diffuser
Speed wing or no wing
Dboots 2.4
You should get 100
🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Less stress on motor
@silvabackwarrior check out my latest video, lol. ruclips.net/video/vBU2S2aAXjE/видео.htmlsi=YOpcZ7Ki6ynXll4n

@@superrocketRC Thank you so much. now i understand the gearing system. Thanks again man! Got a new sub! I was already subbed to you. haha
@tittentei7331 I appreciate it! I'll try to answer any questions the best I can, I still have a lot to learn myself.
Have you tried 17 or 18 tooth on 6s 132 feet
I have not.
Don’t know why it cut out with that gearing cause I ran same gearing and no problems and ran my 3s over 100 mph
@@tedshickell7315 I'm not 100% sure, maybe heat related? It seems to be hit or miss if I can run full throttle for longer than 4 seconds.
