The muscle memory on these elite athletes always fascinates me 😅. Guy didn't pick up a racquet for almost a year, practices for a couple weeks, looks like he never left.

Meh… lefty forehand to righty backhand. Wash (hopefully the butt picker washes something), rinse, repeat. He looks good. His shot tolerance and depth will improve with each played match. Hopefully he can be a total thorn in Melbourne!!

This got me thinking, Theim, Nadal, and Wawrinka have all been mostly injured or coming back from injury the last 3 seasons. They also happen to be the biggest threats to beating Djokovic. Slam count might be different if they all stayed healthy.
