I tend to avoid spanish style rums with added sugar, but Pampero is the exception to the rule for me. I love it.

Hampden Estate Great House 2021 came out yesterday here. I received my Worthy Park 13 and the Hamilton 11 year Port Mourant from Florida Rum Society. when are you getting back to reviewing high end high proof rum again ?

So many reviewers have rated this rum highly & it's on my list to try. I already tried the more popular Diplomatico GR which tastes great & is supposed to be sweeter than Pampero. I haven't found anything that beats El Dorado 12 year rum at $30 range. All of them good though.

Ah the pampero. My sister law likes this. Not sure about sugar content now as it was many years ago but an easy sip as I remember but my tastes have changed a bit since then

For me, drinking the neat was not enjoyable. I think with ice or a cocktail like an old fashion.
