Would primary frostbite be a better arcane since you have guaranteed frost proc from the explosion? You would have to run serration in it then wouldn't you?
So just switching merciless to frostbite is a significant decrease in damage, mostly due to the slash procs themselves being alot smaller due to less flat damage. Let me try moving serration into one of the slots and see if I can get it to be a bit better.
Ok, I put serration over primed firestorm, and the damage is now VERY similar to the merciless set up. It's hard to tell EXACTLY which one is best as this does tremendous damage, and even spawning in Grineer Exo Officers they are dying very quickly. I did a few different test runs with groups of 20 and had similar results each time. Now...of course you're losing Primed Firestorm which has the potential for having more DPS output...but in the 'pro' side of Frostbite its VERY easy to get all 40 stacks of your Frostbite up in like 2 shots in a group where merciless can sometimes be painful to get all 12 stacks back if you've lost them for some reason. I personally will be sticking with merciless, but in testing Frostbite is a viable option if you can put serration over Primed Firestorm, or Vile acceleration if you can obtain fire rate through another means. Super Good question!
From the wiki: "the highest critical chance stat matched only by the Lenz and Kuva Chakkhurr" (on the dread wiki page). I checked the other primaries to see if any were missed, and the only one that has a conditional shot that's higher than 50% is Nataruk with 60% on a perfect shot only. Also, some weapons with their incarnon forms + evolutions may go slightly higher but as far as base stats go 50% is highest base on primaries. There's a good wiki page thats pretty basic info, its the "Warframe weapon comparison" wiki that may help you.
Well then we're comparing weapons with conditionals or mods or evolutions. I mean...a braton with a crit mod, with a specific evolution on the incarnon, with an adarza kavat, and while playing Harrow has a higher crit chance then :P

I suppose if someone really wanted to, ammo drum could be used in exilus slot. Since it's only 4 forma to fit the full build, I'll def do it. Cheers.

The lenz doesn’t have the highest crit chance nor is it tied for first with 2 other weapons
