About 10 years ago I found your youtube channel and your videos. I was about 20 at the time and I listened to all yours videos over and over. Then you released Dark Paradise. It was so inspiring that after listening to it 4-5 times I went to the store and bought my first guitar. I have been taking lessons every week since that day and it was one of the best decisions of my life. Today I found this video again. How could I have forgotten about it?! It is still as good as I remember... but this time I was able to play it along with you... on my own butterscotch tele. What a great feeling. Thank you!

Why dont u gather up top 30 players influenced by matt and we send him a special tribute video Drummers.. lead guitarists etc.. those who can solo and also do insane sweeps. Butmwe try to get people who were brand new from matt.. his prodigies. I started to play but quit so i suck but i think it would be cool idea.. U can go in it we find some giod video editors too.. Jealously & Envy, .................. People cut others down, or give a thumbs down because THEY themselves have absolutely no talent, or anything unique or meaningful to contribute to our World. So it makes these hollow saddened souls feel better if they can somehow try to knock other people down a a few notches because they themselves are the people who can only HOPE and DREAM about doing anything as good as they just witnessed.

Matt was about 16 when he composed and recorded this for RUclips. It shows incredible musicality and virtuosity. He still has an amazing talent, (listen to the album ‘Indigo Child'), but lately he seems to have got stuck in a rut! I do think he is a genius, but he has lost his way!
