Ok, I died😅😅 when brotha said that you could get cooking 🍳 stains on your couch 🛋️. That 1st floor is so small u would've have to go outside just to change your mind😅😅
@@melc156 I was standing in front of it when i was giving the specs and price of the home at 24:40 but it’s covered by the small trees so its hard to get a good view. Glad you enjoyed watching!
That first unit was disrespectfully small. No counter space in the kitchen or the bathrooms. The only positive is the fact that you don't have to get off the couch to get something out of the fridge😮
Great showcase. I live in Rockville, MD and prefer suburban living but I'm enjoying your content and learning about DC neighborhoods (from NC). I also like the addition of the mortgage analysis.
@@iriswagstaff Rockville is awesome. I Love that whole pike and rose area. Who knows, I might find myself out there soon showcasing the real estate and amenities 🤷🏽♂️ 😉
I moved from Tampa to Washington DC a few months ago and I’m thinking of purchasing a single family home there, but with real estate prices currently through the roof, is it still a good idea to buy a home or should I invest in stocks for now and just wait for a housing market correction?
well you could put a downpayment on a home and as well diversify as much as you can into Ai, energy and big pharm. stocks like Pfizer and JnJ, ASML, MLM and S&P 500 ETFs. I’d suggest you go with a managed portfolio, but even those don’t perform so well, so it’s best you reach out to a proper fiduciary to guide you, that’s what works for my spouse and I making a whooping $738k in Q4 last year
There are many advisors to choose from. But I work with 'Leah Foster Alderman' and we've been working together for years and she's fantastic. You could check her if she meets your requirements. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with
Thanks for the recommendation, I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials, I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get.
@4:11, you are paying $460,000 to live in your kitchen? You probably can't even open the fridge door without hitting the sofa. @5:17, that isn't a bedroom. There is no "closet" and by the time you get a bed in there, the room will be full, so no space for a freestanding wardrobe. Having two TINY bathrooms in a two bedroom house is nonsense. There should be a 'Jack and Jill' arrangement thereby giving each bedroom a little more space. @10:49, wow, that is wild. The second unit makes more sense. It has a bigger kitchen/living space and a larger bedroom. It seems as if the first property tried to squeeze in more in the same amount of space. @21:37, that is a LOT of money to pay for a convenient location. @25:23, I would favour Lidl over Safeway. @26:07, at least you are not walking in off the street into the kitchen and the living room is not a bad size. I like the powder room. The kitchen is small, but there is a pantry for more storage. The second floor (UK viewer here) has the most space. I was thinking that nearly $500,000 is pricey, but you get quite a lot for the money. However, you can't really buy anything in Washington DC for $400,000.
@@tuan2u 3% is the minimum down payment required to buy a home. Im not telling anyone to do anything. Im just using it as an example. People can do whatever they want. In the real world most people are not walking around with a 20% downpayment anyway. You personally might have the ability to put down 20% but that doesn’t mean everyone else can…. especially not at this $400,000 first time homebuyer price point. On average most people put down 3-10%.
@@BashirBadruDMVRealtor just like you said: location. I'll sacrifice the space to be in the middle of everything i need, including work. those interest rates still bug me though.
DC is expensive. The entire DMV is expensive. Unless you move to like Waldorf or outskirts, ur paying a lot. Then we got these European style stuff. Build a brand new building from the ground, make the it small and charge $100B....

it’s a personal decision, but according to Forbes, housing activities will remain stagnant for the most part of the year, so maybe hold off a little.
