    I didn’t make this up but it’s pretty useful when trying to remember if you should use the dew or bubble point. “Dewper heat & Bubble cooling”.

    What happens if the small tube near the sensing bulb has a leakage but repaired as well? Can the txv still be functional?

    My expansion valve is sporlan HVE 5-1/2 not getting open properly our chiller is air cooled condensing type now we order as spare as per the tonnage of chiller which is 173 LRA now we ordered the spare and got the Sporlan HVE-16 expansion valve type with same inlet and out pipe as the existing one . Now we connect and started the unit flooding of refrigerant started. Can we adjust the HVE -16 expansion valve superheat to HVE 5-1/2 type. Pls suggest

    What damage low air flow in the evaporator fan on the performance of the expansion valve (tev)

    • @sporlanvideo
      @sporlanvideo  4 года назад +3

      Low air flow across the evaporator coil will lead to low discharge pressure, low suction pressure, and low or hunting superheat.

    I have AC UNIT using R22 refrigerant and has the txv in the system,my suction pressure is still low while putting in the refrigerant..I check for leak using soap bubbles no sign, I Also change the filter dryer I clean the Ac filters and lastly I clean the all evaporator coil but still giving low suction pressure. What the cause of this? Need help here

    The adjusting screw needs to be accessible while the system is in operation.
