240 rad and the last fan with some kind of shroud to feed the gpu directly.
It seems to be close to the roof to wich will suffocate it a bit more.
In the end pulling the powerlimit on a 4090 is the way to go, as low as 60-65% will still grant you most of the preformance and alot less heat generated.

Would be really interested to see you experiment your point where you aircooled the CPU meaning front fans could offer better cooling for GPU as well. Love the idea of the 3u pc but want to avoid water cooling where possible!

I started working on this but I’ve had to RMA my cpu and now I have to RMA my replacement 14700k because it too seems to have issues. BUT! I did manage to do some testing but it wasn’t thorough. From the one stress test I did the GPU was around 71C and the CPU was around at 80C. In the one game I tried for about 5 minutes the CPU was 80C+ and the 4090 was around 60C.
The 4090 is just not the right GPU for this chassis, it’s too big and too hot. With a different GPU you’ll probably have better results. But I’m too small of a channel to really test this thing thoroughly

@@SPXLabs I appreciate what you've done and shared already though! Extremely useful thank you, keep up the good work!

Aww thanks. Hoping one day to follow up but at this point… with all the issues I’ve had it probably isn’t going to happen.

yeah, I presume that their's no holes on the top panel, DIRECTLY over the graphics card so it's suffocating

1:07 bykski watercooling stuff is good watercooling for less 300 bucks full setup 😇🙌

Yeah it’s not terribly expensive. I’ve got some stuff in my cart but I’ve got to save up money before pulling the trigger

would of just cut a rectangle and mounted a 320 fan grill plate with a filter mesh in the lid above the gpu. I've done something similar in my 4u case.

I’m tempted to cut my lid. I just did a test last night with all air cooling but with a 5800x (because my 14700k is being rma’d). GPU was at ~58C.

I’m really curious why you didn’t go with one of Sligers 4u chassis… far more practical.

Well first off I’m enamored with the idea of the horizontal mount and I feel like people have to know about this because someone out there is probably looking for the smallest rack chassis they can get and are maybe stuffing it full of water cooled components and not having to take up too much space and getting all the advantages of a larger chassis. So the people got to know it exists.
For me personally idk I guess I like the novelty of it, it’s the most unique chassis I have seen and it feels like it will offer a lot of flexibility in the future for whatever I might throw at it.
I still might move to a 4u in the future but I’d have to pick up a right angle 12pin power connector so the GPU power doesn’t squish and catch on fire/melt.

Wish I could have even a fraction of such performance, but, you guessed it (probably not), I have a PC from 2010 with 2009 specs. Its an all in one, so theres basically no upgrade route. Crusty paste too, so my Pentkum E5400 isnt really happy even in BIOS.

Dayum an E5400. I don’t think you could even pay someone to take it away.
