I tried this bread yesterday, it was my first time using Tangzhong dough. Turned out soooo fluffy and so soft, the best bread I ever baked! It even stayed soft until the morning but it tasted so good when it was still warm. The dough was a bit salty though, i think 1/2 tsp would be enough but with the sweet custard it tasted better. Going to make this dough again today with another filling. Thanks again Apron! 💕

I just love your bread recipes. This is a winner. Whenever I make wholemeal bread I only use your recipe . The one with the wholemeal flour n water mixed over night n the starter dough to be put in next morning when I bake the bread. Never fails. Thanks so much for sharing your recipes. Maybe you used salted butter or margarine. 😊
