My favourite steam locomotive is Pitchford Hall. She’s a Great Western locomotive running on what were originally Great Eastern tracks at the Epping Ongar Railway.
I hope to return to train operations at the Epping Ongar Railway during the year. I’ve had a year of illness and think I’m now on the mend!! I’m either a Meeter/Greeter or Train Janitor, going up and down the train with a bin bag collecting the bits!!
great choices, i was made up to see 46441 having its first movements in the headshunt, i couldn't make it back to see it having its first loaded test runs but looking forward to seeing it running in the new year, thanks for watching. Tom
i believe that was her first movements under her own power in over 20 years, we watched it having its inspection and passed its test before making the move, hoping to see it next year in service
