@goarmysleepinthemud. I never thought I'd have 0 gauge myself but couldn't resist the Ellis clark black 5, it is a brilliant scale and there's alot more available now and more reasonably priced than it used to be
@steadycamman1 Hi Pete same to you and your family all the best, glad you like the videos and thanks for the kind comments, I've got a few more unboxings to do over the next few weeks am currently in the process of selling a few more older locos to make space, thanks again it's much appreciated. Tom
Hello Tom Great Christmas haul I like the train transportation boxes and foam inserts. Very very nice DMU set. Happy New Year to you and your family. Deano
@ModelRailwayShed Hi Deano glad you like the boxes I was debating whether to mention them or not but I think there great if your intending on moving stock around and will save time and space, am looking forward to giving the 158 a proper run on the layout to, thanks for watching, all the best. Tom
@Pirate-Scorcher-1998 thanks I've been saving up a while for some of these locos and getting 2 preserved examples was a great Christmas present of the family, I was also thinking that about the crest but knowing my luck theyl change the real loco again in a years time 😂, thanks for watching, all the best. Tom
@ollychap1985 I haven't had a chance yet to be honest, I hope it's ok, not what you'd expect from bachmann, are you sending yours back or going to try and improve it yourself
Jinty, no. 7298 (LMS number), was a resident on the Llangollen Railway first. He was repainted blue with red stripes, for the Day Out With Thomas events that are sadly no more. I miss him very much, and hope that one day, he will return to Llangollen if he can be borrowed. He is my favourite LMS tank engine after all. Please run him for me, I want to listen to the sounds he makes without being rudely interrupted by a stinky diesel. He has a nice wailing Midland whistle, which I love. Never trust Heljan. Their model engines give one joy for either a few days or a few minutes, and then decide not to run at all. Send the Heljan diesel back, it won't last 5 minutes. I should know, because I tried a Heljan steam engine twice and she failed me. Heljan can't get good quality and price on par with each other, they're slipping downhill very badly. Hornby and Bachmann, plus Dapol diesels run a lot better.
@kellyashfordtrains2642 I'll give the jinty a run soon am looking forward to unboxing this one, I now heljan have a bad reputation for steam locos but every diesel I've had has been fine so we'll see
@thomasmills6427 Hi Thomas what gave you the impression I don't like the original midland pullman, my dad has the original triang models, and nothing wrong with the class 24 it runs regularly on my heritage line 🙂
blimey you have gone crazy buying things plus christmas presents...
@timstrainvideos142 I now it seems that way 😂 but I've sold of quite a few 00 models to make room and also to pay for the 0 gauge 26
Very nice. I am desperately trying to avoid getting into O scale, but man it sure is tempting!

Have you run the Bachmann jinty yet?
I have one and it’s a very poor runner
@ollychap1985 I haven't had a chance yet to be honest, I hope it's ok, not what you'd expect from bachmann, are you sending yours back or going to try and improve it yourself
@ thinking of sending in back for a replacement going to give it a few more days running and then see what it’s like
@ollychap1985 hope it's sorted for you i haven't had a chance to run mine yet
