  • Review of the 2024 KTM SX-E2. I have riding footage towards the end of the video.
When I was talking about the range being 2-2.5 rides I meant trips out to the track. So probably about 2 hours of riding time in the medium power mode.
    0:54 Weight compared to PW50
    1:10 Motor
    1:21 Controls
    1:44 Powering On
    2:12 Battery removal
    2:37 Battery Life
    2:44 Fork and shock settings
    2:58 Size comparison vs PW50
4:10 Riding in low power mode
4:40 Riding in medium power mode

Cool Review! great done! - is there a reason, why you use for your small kid the footpeg on the low position? wouldn´t it make sense to reduce the distance between the seat and pegs for the short legs? I saw in another video that this was prefered there.
Looks like a great Bike for the little ones! Your Kid send it!

thanks man! by now, do you think the 3 would be a better transition from the 1.12?

Perfect. This is gonna be his transition from a Stacyc 12.

Hey thank you for makeing this video. I was also in the market for a PW50 for my son but 90lbs vs 60 lbs is a huge difference. He is also coming from the Stacyc 12. I see you shaved your seat. Did you shave the stock seat or did you get a second seat to shave? If a second seat were did you manage to buy one. I have been looking and have not been able to find one.

Yeah it’s a much better transition than a pw50. I just shaved it myself and re stapled it. I’m sure I will be able to get a new seat down the road when he is ready. He’s been riding it this way since I posted and not close to needing a taller seat yet. Worth it for him to be able to touch the ground.

What part of AZ are you in at that little track? Looks kind of like AZ Farms Rd.

Does it have regenerative/engine braking or does it freewheel when the throttle is off?

Awesome video. Just bought my son one. Curious as to where that track is at? Would love to take him out there and let him ride.

Are these bikes considered the equivalent of stacyc or pw50? Like are they allowed in the races?

    • @flogreen4fiddy
      @flogreen4fiddy  8 месяцев назад

I’m not sure since we haven’t tried to race it yet. It seems like it would fit in the pw50 class well.

How long does the battery stand? I have 2 stacyc 12 for my twins, and the batteries range is really annoying, and I was planning g to go back to petrol bikes

About 2-2 1/2 hours on medium power for us. The battery life is great on this bike. We have a Stacyc 12 as well and blow through batteries fast on that as well.

On high getting about an 90mins. But it does charge super fast unlike the stacyc. Grab a second battery and you could ride all day swapping battery’s. We love ours. Best thing coming off the stacyc 12e. We have the e2 and a pw and it’s boosted his confidence to ride the pw even though he has to lean it over to get one foot on the ground haha.

I took about an inch and a half out of the seat. He can just barely touch the ground with boots on.
