Who the heck told you its the bike every older KTM rider hates? I'm one of the blokes who still has his 2012 200 Duke, I was one of the blokes who gave feedback to KTM engineers to iron out the gremlins that were found on the D200. Majority of us "older KTM riders" are more into dirt and off road riding, that too using street bikes with asphalt tyres cause we never had access to proper off roaders in India before. An offroader like the 390R is what we asked for since the first news came out about KTM launching in India more than a decade ago. Heck we still can do circles around you on our old bikes. We are not dead or gonna be old 😂
I really hope that the motorcycles will still come onto the market after the KTM crisis. I didn't order any other motorcycles in the winter because the first photos of the new 390 were already online.
Nice improvement but I don't like the low exhaust!! It's not a street bike like the Duke or even the current 390 ADV which has a fairly proper exhaust position. What about the dust, dirt, mud, rocks and water one might traverse while riding? What happens then???
On the contrary. If one intends riding mostly tame trails and roads the underbelly exhaust is a big benefit because soft luggage can be used without any risk of it catching fire or melting. The load can be carried evenly and closer to the bike. Much better.

Apart from the strange design as usual, headlight is hideous, seat has a strange shape, but off-road bike with the exhaust exit under the engine!!!!! Are you serious?? ready to race, but don't cross rivers......
Kove 450 dry weight 155 without electrinic. This KTM have cruise control, quickshifter, cornering ABC, different drive modes and more. And on it you can travel
@MadDriver55 Dry weight is an ultra competitive 145kg. 2 forward and 1 rear petrol tank take the capacity to a stage completing and continent crunching 31 litres. It is possible to isolate one tank to use as water storage as per rally rules. It's 145kg mate I own one and weighed it , look at any kove website and RUclips videos , maybe do some research before commenting, the KTM is a turd even has same suspension that's on a duke I know which I would have , and I'm a KTM owner
@MadDriver55 the 165kg weight on the KTM is dry , the kove has Bosch electronics and abs , as far as ride modes I it doesn't interest me , my KTM adventure 790 adventure R I have I switch everything off , if you are any good you would , anybody any good wouldn't use anything, hardly going to highside you with a engine that couldn't pull the skin of custard and a heavy turd with road suspension
😏 When I bought my first KTM it was because it was the leader. This is a desperate attempt to compete with CF or KOVE. This bike is an admission of defeat.

I have the current 390 Adventure and indeed, on highway it's a pain. Doable but not pleasant, and would definitely benefit from a cruise control. Although as soon as the asphalt ends, it feels like fish in the ocean.
