Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that "guy" with the headless multiscale guitar who's playing upside down actually a gal? Not that gender matters in general, but to me it seems even more impressive as proficient female guitarists are exceptionally rare.
I like that Ola reviews guitars from other manufactures. I think it shows a lot of character for someone to put their love of guitars first even tho they are competing in the same industry for sales. Its also super cool he gives recognition to other channels and even links them in his videos. You are a good sport Ola respect to you mate.
Honestly man, you put out whatever Sunday content and we'll support you. It sucks that you have to apologize every video for not keeping the exact schedule you set out for. We're still getting Ola content :) Also, I could hear Chuck from Testament over that intro riff for sure! Deadly riff
THIS RIFF, OLA!!!!!! Straight 90s thrash, to me at least. My favorite metal. It's so sick, would love a song out of it, maybe a couple YT buddies to do vocals and whatnot.
Everything, including wood choice, effects tone. The three things that have the biggest impact on tone is the pickups, amp, and how the guitar is manufactured. The tonal differences of each kind of wood is so subtle that most people don't care, but there is a difference. Even in the dudes video you can hear the difference in the harshness of the treble. The actual guitar's treble was smoother, the workbench "guitar" was harsher. I could hear that through my phones potato speaker. Cheaper guitars are usually made with fresher/moister wood, among other quality issues that effect tone. More expensive guitars, like PRS, use aged/dried wood, and really scrutinize the manufacturing quality.
That is a sick Solar in the intro! If it had a left handed 7 string variant I'd be all over it. Also super excited for new Arch Enemy! It's gonna be a amazing album! Korn so far is my album of the year despite being so short. Looking forward to Ghost and Kreator. Looking forward to hearing other new albums releasing.
,,,,dear Mr.OLA.......that is a brilliant idea for Vinnies house!!!...I hope the right people see and hear your idea,,and buy it as a musical journey museum,or some kind of school of rock drumming....great idea,,,,,,,,,!...tnx,pat.
Not sure if this was ever addressed in an FAQ video but do you plan to release a custom shop section for Solar where folks can customize Solar guitars? PS. Can't wait for the X shapes to be announced. Cheers!
Ola, I'm a fan of the Telecaster style and sound too and I plan on buying one, but I'm going with the Kiesel Retro Solo (RS series). Have you seen it & heard it?
Did you really just ignore the last of these albums? Woods of Ypres - Woods V: Grey Skies & Electric Light That was an awesome album! And the last of the band, because David Gold, the heart of the band, passed away the year before and the album was release posthumous. Listen to "Finality" or "Death is not an Exit" - that´s excellent stuff right there. It´s more on the doom and gloom side, but it´s great stuff. Give it some time and it will sit right in your mind for years to come.
Hey Ola holy shit I'm awake for Sunday with you! Look man I've never asked you to do anything other than be you but could you please do a playthrough of one of your songs with the Dog in the background just like you did the stars and ponies Play through with the cats that would be so awesome bro thank you and have a great Sunday!!!
Great stuff as always. Also I can see you're taking care of your body lately as you said (not that you needed it). Looking great man! Much love as always
DAM IT you ola!!! I wanted to wear my new METAL MORNINGS shirt this morning while watching. Also Louise ROCKS got my shirt's on a week in USA not 4 to 6 weeks. THANK YOU GUY'S
Vinnie's home studio is where they wrote a lot of Rebel Meets Rebel, most of HELLYEAH, New Found Power and countless other songs and riffage. If those walls could talk. RIP to the Brick Wall and the Pink Beard in the sky
@@Easy_Skanking they did most Pantera there but back in September when Sterling Winfield ripped all the recording equipment out of Vinnies house he mentioned Rebel meets Rebel, Damageplan, some pantera riffs and pretty much most of the Hellyeah albums was done in Vinnie's Studio.

The purpose of tone wood is not to create a better sound :). It is to find the wood which takes away the least frequencies from the strummed strings :). All wood absorbs some of the frequencies.
OLA HELP! I know you´ve already done a will it chug on the Squier Frontman 10G and i didnt chug at all, but please, how can i get a chug sound that is at least similar to yours in a way with that amp XD? I have an overdrive pedal, maybe that could work 🤘🤘
What up Ola!! I have a question for you? What country are your vinals being made in. I am just curious because Covid 19 has screwed up the supply chain around the world. I love everything you do. I also plan to get two Solar guitars this summer.
Judging from the punched holes in the shelves, the padlock underneath it, and the drain in the floor of the secret room....Vinnie had some dark secrets.
FAQ: Hey Ola , like you, I am a huge Nevermore fan, and still feel Dead Heart in a Dead World is a modern classic. However as a 47 ear old metal head , my gateway band into nevermore, was Sanctuary. I wondered, have u listened to them? How Warrell Dane took control of is voice as he got older was always mind blowing to me, and when they eventually reformed, Sanctuary released and absolute classic album, with The Year the Sun Died. If you haven’t checked it out, then u definitely should. I hope this finds you and your family well, and all the best!
Vinnie did live Vegas. I would see him at shows and at hockey games. Saw him a few weeks before he passed at the bar next to my work. Miss seeing him around Vegas.
I'm literally ordering that sSherwood Green Telecaster right now because of you and that video. So tell Fender Squier so they know lol. No shit though. I'm getting it. Hell maybe!!!
OLA! I have an Evertune question! Have you found that the Evertune has a tendency to break the lowest string often? I have a Solar E1.6 with an Evertune and a Gibson Explorer that I had fitted with an Evertune and both of them break the lowest string more often than normal if I play them everyday... I encourage anyone to reply what they think about this, and/or if it happens to them THANK YOUUUUUUU
Ola, skipping Riitiir from the list is really a shame, especially when you speak about another band "similar to Opeth in their own way". Enslaved is that kind of band that created that kind of "mixing genres" in their metal that can be "still in their own way" described as Opeth's style. And Riitiir is may be the starting point of that with their more "proggy rock" influences mixed with their old black metal music. Definitely an album to check out if not already known
Hey Ola, if you get excited by a Squire Telecaster, that you have to try out the Larry Carlton T7 antique white from Sire. This is really a great guitar in a high quality...
Metal Morning is taking a short break but it will be back next week! Have a great Sunday everyone!
Some day.... I will win.
It should be next week... It will be the eve of valentine's day 😁
I hate to say it but it's not Sunday 💀and that's not Ola hosting this video 💀
Ola I live in Nj and i would gladly donate $750 to buy this home....you are the the one with the massive following, let's do this man

He has to in order to consistently have stuff to talk about lol
Just watching with my son who turns 1 tomorrow, he's dancing along to the intro riff and waving to Ola 😂

Sunday with Ola on my Birthday! Hell yes!
Thanks for giving Guitar Guts a shout out. That dude has a plethora of rad rebuilds and is very inspiring for the builder/player.
By far the best riffs on any guitar based RUclips channel 🤘🏼
