Hi!! I am facing a problem with my Studio 24c and OBS. Using the virtual send, when I record on OBS the sound gets cracked like it was a buffer size problem. But I am already on 2048 buffer size and getting the problem. I've tried different sample rate too, 48 kHz and 44.1, but no results. The stranger thing is when I am playing the track on my DAW, the sound goes great...with no cracking noises. But when I go to see the video recorded...the sound is cracked. So I suppose the problem is on OBS. I've tried to change the settings, but with no results too. Do you have any idea what it could be? Thank you
Awesome! So what about if you have 9 drum mics hooked up? They're all going into a Presonus 192 and not sure how to get all that audio from my DAW (S1) into OBS. Right now, the bass drum and snare are taking up Channels 1/2. Thanks!
Hi! I just bought a Presonus Studio 24C because I'm looking for the loopback function. I chose "virtual" in Universal Control, so I think it is activated. But for some reason, I can't get Audacity to capture my piano playing. I'm using the latest build of Windows 10 on a Dell Precision 3540. Any solution would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
@@VictorRiquelmeRock Well, I later ended up sending it back because it was impossible for me to do it, and I got a FocusRite 4I4 which solved the problem. :)
My guess would be two or three possible things. You have a sample rate mis-match in OBS. You need to cycle Mixer Bypass You have muted the output accidentally in Universal Control
Open the Universal Control mixer. Click the GEAR icon in the upper RIGHT. Click MIXER BYPASS twice (button should be GRAY not blue) see if it passes audio now.
Hi! Thank you for putting up a video about this. I currently use a Steinberg UR-44 for my SLOBS streaming, yet I'm interested in switching to the Presonus 1824c. I stream live music - vocals and guitar live. Is there an arrangement where I can put my microphones into the DAW and then straight into OBS? So I have reverb, EQ, etc without a hitch, with minimal delay. Thank you!
Anything going into the DAW can be looped back into OBS, including a mic. So, no problem doing that. But it will be integrated with any other audio playing in your DAW, which isn't a big deal if you are streaming.
Nope, no loopback for using mac. Thnx for completely leaving that out of ANY of your marketing Presonus. The more I use the 1824c the more I feel swindled.
This video is about ASIO audio which is what Windows uses. Mac uses CORE audio. PreSonus does mention loopback is Windows only here support.presonus.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002274752-Studio-Series-Avoid-feedback-using-Loopback and in the manual. Perhaps they should make it more clear on the product page, but I do not work for or with PreSonus.
I have been digging for days on how to get audio from the loopback. Is this the best way to record a Skype call?
The method does not work on Audio Box 96
I don't even have the Loopback option on the StudioLive 32.4.2AI
work in audiobox 96 2 channels?

I love you
Will the latency through virtual asio be worse if i get the budget presonus interfaces?
No. That comes down to the driver and the computer itself.

I'm having the same issue. Any luck figuring it out?
jpettit no...I kind of gave up on it for a while. Might revisit:)
hit the same problem :c

Did you find the solutions?

Do you have to have OBS or streamlab to utilize loopback? I am trying to record a Skype interview and I won't be running through either of those.
No. But the setup would be different.
@@BenoniStudio do I need to run a cable from my computer speaker to my 1834c input?
There should be a way to route the call into the DAW with Loopback, but an easy way would be to run a cable from the computer into your DAW.
Benoni please help. I do every step in this video but the playback of studio one does not enter to obs.
My guess would be two or three possible things.

@@BenoniStudio Mixer bypass?? where is that option? and how I mute the output in UC. I dont even knew that I could do that.

@@BenoniStudio Well my interface is studio24c maybe might not have that GEAR icon in the upper RiGHT. :c
In universal control only apears FILE, SETTINGS AND DEMO.
Also, Loopback isn't showing up as an option in UC.
Loopback is only for Windows. Your previous comment said you were on Mac.
BenoniStudio dammit! That’s three programs just for windows:(

I don’t see inputs on advanced audio settings. I’m scratching my head on this one.
Tried this with ableton and this didnt work

I'm not sure why you went through all the trouble of recording how to do it without actually demoing any of it.
Anyways none of this worked for me.
Don't understand. Everything was shown. This video was recorded using the method described. You probably have a sample rate mis-match.
