Fat Mike has played with the band at other shows. With Me First and the Gimme Gimmes random members of other bands fill-in all the time, maybe it's just a common thing with Fat Mike side projects.
@@ZacDonald well yea, MFATGG’s is a cover band meant to be played by punk rock elite - a revolving door of members. This is just a normal band…..either be in the band or don’t be in the band. How do you think it would have gone if Smelly or Hefe was like “yea I’m not gonna be playing those shows”?
He played on the record and produced it. He’s not really in the band as such, he’s involved, sometimes plays with them live. It’s really only Sam and Ceschi- their live band is usually either Zeta or Get Dead
Compared to the album, they truly suck live. Why you gotta pump a crowd up? Singing off key n seem wasted and amateur. Even NOFX, my fav band ever had terrible sound quality. Hire pros, not your friends to run sound and production. I love these guys, but a live show could be 10x better. Don't get me wrong, I'm still driving 6 hrs to see them for my bday and sure hope their crew and performance gets better. And why perform Fast Ones so badly and without the D.O.C.??? Why isn't he on every track and performing if he's considered part of the band? Sounded more like a rap show shouting shout outs n asking for cheers. You guys could play a show without any banter and it would be so much better. NOFX best bantering band ever......they are comedians.
Codefs live was one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. But it was a club show, a small club here in the U.K. it was truly great and the band themselves described their experience of the show as “transcendent “… maybe they don’t pull it off on a big stage, I don’t know, but also you can’t really judge a band by one video. What’s so bad about this one anyway? It’s filmed on a phone at the side of the stage how good do you think it’s gonna sound? And to me saying it was one of the best gigs I’ve ever been to, yes I have been to thousands of gigs, big and small. I’m 41 and first saw NOFX over 20 years ago, I’ve seen hundreds of punk and hardcore shows, metal shows, indie shows, whatever genre shows, I’ve seen bands grow from playing to 30 to 300 to 3000 people. And codefs are still one of the best experiences I’ve had.
I don't get the negativity, especially with zeta they are amazing, I love the drums. Sure this shows sounds crappy due to a lot of factors apparently but they really seem to give it all. I actually prefer the live from the big room recordings to the actual album
nice! i WISH someone would upload an entire NOFX set or two!!!!
We've got VIP tickets to the Orlando show, def. ready for it! Thanks for the upload!
It was amazing! Have a fun!! I’m sure Orlando will be dope!
I was there, and it was fuckin awesome. Minus the fact that the soundboard guy fuuuuuucked everything up. Lol Couldnt even hear the bass.
Fantastic

Hope they kept their DAY-JOB......at the laundry cleaners
Where’s Fat Mike? How exactly is he in this band?
Just about to ask the same question

I thoght Fat Mike was in Co-Defen...
I think he's more on the production side of things.
@@raiyvien8986 I hear you generally them type of people aren't listed as members but... When you're fat Mike....hey.... You definitely could be right
hate barricade shows
I am not a fan either, they take the personal atmosphere away but for NOFX last show and to see the Codefendents up close, I dealt with it…
I really enjoy this bands punk music. I could live without the ska/reggae. Happy to hear some new punk music.
They're good becuz of that mixture. Besides who likes punk but hates reggae lol. They go hand in hand.
