I believe Hayes' motto was "Built to last". Fifty years later, I guess they've proved their point. Hind-sight is 20-20. Nice restoration, but I too prefer the original headlights like H17 still has.
You can zoom in on the engine, it’s a bit hard to make out but it looks like a 60 series, it’s a bit hard to make out but it’s a bluish Gray. Now I could be wrong 😅 because I have seen Cat that cooler out on the road before. If you zoom in above the turbo it looks like the valve cover for a 60 but there’s lines for different heads like the N14 Cummins. It’s hard to make out… the Jake sounds like an N14
I had to watch this 10 times at different frames and it is a Detroit, at 12 and 14 seconds if you stop the video and zoom in with your phone you’ll see the sea foam green paint of the 60 😅 ugh

It's steam off the brake drums, there's a tank behind the cab that circulates water to all the brakes to keep them cool.
