@@leaenasolari2318 I suppose therein lies the difference between an exploited sensation seeking tourist and a welcomed pelgrim sensitive to the country and culture he/she visits.
We went to mass ‘as we were’ on the Camino several times last year. People were very hospitable and friendly. The pilgrims keep many of these little towns alive. They are very grateful.
