That's like a 5-star takeaway breakfast! This alone can probably take you all the way to Finisterre. Haha, Lady Reck you can tell a story - I had such a good laugh now about Jason's 'lost' things 😂. Between me and you Lady Reck ... that's just how men are (but hey, we still love them)!
Hi, I've been watching you and lady reck daily from since ,, yous said yous had 12 subscribers.. And enjoyed yous sharing your journey... Enjoy the rest of your Camino to finisterre.
We had a few near misses with the bikes. On one occasion a group went by us at speed, way too close and no warning. Like you I expressed my discontent which got a comment back as they moved on. Twenty minutes later we came upon a downed cycle and rider who had crashed and injured. He was from the group that passed us. The rest of the cycle group had abandoned him and the injured rider is being tended to pilgrams on foot who have called EMS. We grew to sort of hate the cyclist. Another great video. Where is my wallet?
I have walked many, many Camino’s and have smiled as you two have chilled and become more and more comfortable along your journey. When you said that you had to ‘rant’ on some aspect of the path, I thought, oh dear they’re about to resort to their old ways, before they became perriginos, and then you mentioned cyclists along the Way. Of all the aspects of Camino, cyclists (only a few, not all) can make me rant too. They seem to feel like privileged pilgrims. I’ve seen 300 walkers having to stand aside to make way for two cyclists when there was a perfectly good, unused service road two meters away. For those who think Americans are always complaining about everything. I’m English, and European.
I kept my wallet and phone in my waist pack and my passport and pilgrim passport in my neck wallet. I checked every time I left an Albergue or Bar. All was good till Triacastela, I got up in the morning and no sunglasses.Searched the room high and low so I must have left them somewhere the day before. Goodbye 200.00. But I didn't let that ruin my trip, I was so close to Santiago. I'll be more careful when I leave next month, or so I say.
The bikes are a menace. In the places where they could easily be on the road instead, they blast the down small trails in their little suits like they think they are the featured team cyclists on the Tour de France. 🤦🏻♂ And, the pilgrim lost passport/wallet/credencial panic is real. Thought I lost all of it in Pamplona on my first Camino. For a few hours I was in distress. Turns out I had knocked my wallet bag under a bed, into the furthest corner at a AirBnB. Never been so relieved in my LIFE to find it later. Not sure if its a male thing, but I wouldn't dispute that. 😆
Another beautiful morning and great video on your journey. The Lord give safety and bless extra special as you continue on your pilgrim travels.
Love the little details! What a great picnic ..
That picnic made me laugh. What an awesome gesture by the hotel. When we have left a hotel early we're lucky to get a muffin.
Buen Camino a Finisterre! 👍😀
A Casa rural is ( to me) the best! I I had an amazing experience at one in Sansol :)

Thank you for understanding…

It’s so easy to get complacent towards the end
