- Mopar guys know that Chrysler didn't put an 8 3/4" rear end in all A body cars. So, when you're out on the road, and you see an A body with that rear end peeking out from under the gas tank, you know; it's probably a cool car.

Stock tension nuts on U-bolts are "Kind of a nightmare"! I'll say!
Was just doing this and wondering what was wrong- why are these so slow?? Glad I found your channel. Wow, we're seeing every minute..
Your inside shackle bolts are both off plumb by quite a bit.
That’s what I did on my dart changed out the 7 1/4” rear axel to an 8 3/4 so that my 14” magnum rims would fit the correct bolt pattern with disc brakes all around.
Is that a Dodge truck sitting next to the Dart , I noticed a ralley wheel and 70-71 center cap ??
It's a '70 Swinger 340
What ratio are u running.
Sweet. I'll have to go through your playlist. Way back, over 20 yrs ago had a 67 Dart GT. 273 with 3 on the tree manual. Converted to a big block 4 spd. You are probably aware, it does kinda fit, but you have to run shift linkage upside down. Then shift pattern is backwards. Frick I miss that car, but Cruella got it in the divorce.
putting a 8 3/4 up in a 47 1 ton dodge, got a 8 1/4 in it now, do you use the mounting holes up on top of the 3rd member to mount to anything?
The holes on top of the 3rd member should be for a pinion snubber. Doubt you'd need one on a 1 ton truck. Seems like there'd be lots of clearance with no worries of the body bottoming out on your pinion.
