    I got the dg3 and I have to say that it’s the best pack I’ve had to date and I’ve had all the big name brands. It carry’s weight very well and the hip belt design is second to none because you don’t have a floppy belt in the way when you set the ruck down or throw it in the trunk it just folds back out of the way and is also easy to remove without undoing Velcro which is nice freaking love it.

    Completely agree with you Rich. I purchased a DG16 after seeing your review of it and it's been incredible. Since I purchased a DG3 not long ago, it's now my go-to pack for almost every trip due to the access and flexibility. Bloody amazing on an old back too!

    Just learned of these packs from Crossfire. Easily the best packs for the money on the market for a feature to cost ratio compared to other brands. I can't wait to order my DG-16 later this week!

    I recommend you set up affiliate links for gear you recommend, with your credibility and experience I wouldn’t hesitate to choose gear you recommend and have tested as a complete system in Australian conditions 👍🏻 costs us nothing more but gives you back a bit for your efforts in making vids

    Great vid mate. Been looking for a more practical pack to carry my photo gear +. Being ex ARA military packs have always been back killers but this one looks awesome. Now I've just got to figure out a way to compartmentalize the inside to safely store lens, flash, camera body etc etc. Any ideas would be good from anyone.

    Hi Rich I really appreciate your content and reviews. I was wondering if you prefer the Crossfire DG3 over the Platatac Med Assault pack. They seem to be comparable. Do you like the centre zip over the suitcase style of the Platatac?

      They are both good mate, I now use the Crossfire though as the Platatac one is quite old now and showing a bit of wear and tear.

    Great video mate! Been looking at buying one myself, and I think you've got me sold.
    Can I ask, what are the pouches you're using? I'll definitely need to pick some of those up too!

    Hey Rich what’s the make of that little e-tool?

  • @mps9649

    I had the old version of the DG-3. Sold it after my time as a grunt because I thought I didn't need it and started using an Osprey civvy style bag which was good. The old one also was not as practical as this new version even if it was a great pack. After seeing this and other reviews I ended up getting the new version as my solo bush hiking backpack. It's a bit too tacticool with the molle which I no longer need but nothing a civvy style pack cover can't cancel.
    I had forgotten just how bloody good the pack itself and especially the frame modularity is. Fantastic pack and one of the best I've ever had.

      did you find that the osprey was any better for comfort in the straps and hip belt? just curious as thinking of buying this pack

    Have you ever tried anything Fjallraven?
    I'm tossing up between the Crossfire DG-3 Slick (The pack you're reviewing in a grayman varient), or the Fjallraven Singi 48.
    I want something thats not going to fall appart but also isn't drawing too much attention for a bit of an EDC/GHB set up.
    Would love to hear your thoughts on Fjallraven if you have had any experience with them.
    Thanks in advance!

      Joshua, sorry i'm not sufficiently familiar with Fjallraven products to provide useful feedback in that regard.

    Hi Rich, just curious you mentioned you have tried civi packs assuming hiking style packs, how did they compare comfort wise in the shoulder straps and waist belt to this crossfire. thanks

    • @thewarriorspathacademy
      @thewarriorspathacademy  Год назад

      I used a Blackwolf pack for a while but it literally fell to pieces. I have tried a couple of others. Waist belt is solid on the Crossfire and you can remove it if you don'y want it on. The shoulder straps are second to none with a good contoured cut to them that works in with the chest strap to keep them out of your armpits and away from the nerve plexus there.

    Hi Rich ... would this be good for a 6 ft 1 in frame in terms of waist belt distributing weight to hips?

    Anyone know what the difference between the DG-3 and the DG-3 Mod 1? Only thing I can see Vis their site is price, and the number of hydration bladder bags?

    Have you worn it over a camelbak at all? It the frame allow room to ride a camelbak under it?

    • @thewarriorspathacademy
      @thewarriorspathacademy  3 года назад +1

      The frame is made to accomodate body armour so yes it would be fine with a camel back.

    Australia is for winners. Everything in the UK needs to be waterproofed in a canoe bag inside a canoe bag.
