We do several repairs, a fabrication estimate or two and look at some future jobs. This is what a typical day with me looks like, but nothing in this business is ever typical.

Gotta rig it up and tool her up and then start trying to find work for it. Watching your videos gives me inspiration to be deadly. Your deadlines is contagious! Lol. Its a little nerve racking to venture out on your own, but I think with a good attitude, a smidge of Give a fuck, and a dash of luck it’s gonna be just fine.

You’ve inspired me to take a local welding class for 10 weeks, 3 hours per week. I’m excited to learn, always liked fabrication but never knew how to weld but since watching your videos it’s given me the passion to learn. Many times have I needed to weld in my personal experience, and I’m only 22. Excited to keep following along, keep sharing your journey and laying beads.

Customers will say something like you don't get paid to drive to an office job and I respond I don't drive $150,000 (I have a big truck with a knuckle boom and a huge amount of tools) truck to an office job. Estimates I usually drive my car to talk with the customers.

I always carry a 5 gallon bucket preferably a metal one I keep a hammer, slag pick and a hand full of other things in it so I don’t have to run around so much then I can drop the rod stubs in it without melting through and I don’t have to worry about it cleaning them up or losing one to find in a tier later some days I need 2 depending on the job and how many dogs and other stuff I need I even made a tray to go on ladders oh and I got a hook on the hand of the bucket to hang places and sometimes I use it to catch sparks if I need extra protection to not burn things underneath but yeah it’s always something lol

I live in Citrus County now and love your channel! ... Got my certifications back in 1984.. Used to have a fabrication shop in Clearwater... Now, just do welding on small projects locally. Love that you make videos often and I always look forward to seeing them! ... I'm sure we will cross paths in Brooksville area one day! - Sincerely, Kell

I only have a chicago electric flux core and I am loving welding. but man I am not doing so well. But I have used it for like everything I had to do, since it was all I had. I will get a multiprocess eventually though but at that point, I wont know which process to use.
