A clause is a group of words that contains a subject and a verb. An independent clause can function as a standalone sentence. A dependent clause must be joined by an independent clause to function as a sentence. We join two independent clauses together with a comma plus a coordinating conjunction. If a dependent clause comes before an independent clause, we must use a comma after the dependent clause.

This is such an important subject.
As bad as I am when it comes to our language; I'm a target on line to those less gifted when it comes to our language.
I've always said when asked, "What happened to the ancient people, if they were so smart?" My response is still the same, by comparison to our society today, by the decaying of our education system. Our children are getting fat from the land. Those who are overly educated, fail because of the lack of dexterity to move from the basement to the kitchen to feed themselves.
I love this channel because of its purpose; to develop those who still care about our society.
I think this is the reason most rich people give their money away, instead of giving it all to their children, because they want them to become who they are as a person, and not a burden unto their own selves.
    Thank you..!

Side question and second time asking: Is there such a thing as perfect punctuation, or is it just something from the perspective of the speaker/writer?

I'm not biased here, but I can say Canadians are the best teachers compared to the US and British teachers when it comes to teaching English in depth. They explain in detail.
