My brother Phil (Phillip) is AMAZING! We had such a traumatic childhood, but he is KILLING IT!! This was our REAL LIFE, BUT his music has been so healing for me and our siblings, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
Whitechapel is currently working on their 9th album and they said they are going back to their roots from the first couple of albums. Phil said it's going to be brutal and dark AF. I'm so stoked. Check out their first two albums if you haven't yet
In my view 'Kin' is the best WC album to date. A touch more proggy and more melodic, good use of clean vocals, and lyrics that hit hard. The songwriting has clearly evolved and the sound is epic, production wise. The song 'Kin' is my personal favorite, the most beautiful heavy ballad I ever heard.
Kin and The Valley are both prime examples of world class musicianship and such well crafted songs that tell a story both musically and lyrically. To me it's becoming a lost art because of how saturated we are with bands and new material and how short peoples attention spans have become. I love bands who still have the passion to create music that grabs you and makes you feel something for the duration of the listen
Kin is an absolute masterpiece. It’s easily my favorite album of the last decade. The way Whitechapel has evolved blows my mind. Where other bands use a backup singer or two singer to differentiate the vocal styles, Phil does both himself and that blows my mind. You should do a start to finish album review even the songs you’ve already done to see if you’re perspective has changed. I know you didn’t care for Bloodsoaked Symphony before but it’s one of my favorite songs on the album. I’d love to see a full album review.
KIN is such a good album. i slept on it too. the musicianship and writing is something else. I bet the album is just the calm before the storm. they probably about to drop a brutal AF album to rival Somatic Defilement. "Bloodsoaked symphony" and "I will find you" are my two faves from KIN.
I loved the last two albums it showed immense growth and so much feeling and emotional writing. Great albums and an awesome direction for them as a band.
Man, such a great song. I mean, I usually prefer heavy stuff but mixing heavy and melodic styles in any shape or form, especially when it was put together very well is just amazing. And this is the case when I actually like the song.
Kin is such a fantastic album! I was late to the game also, but holy shit, it blew me away!🤘The writing, the mix of cleans and harsh vocals, the musicianship, all of it so good!
Yes!!! Please do listen from start to finish. It’s one big concept album. The flow of this album is incredible, while being experimental. No song, feels out of place in the sequence, that they are in. Be dope to see an album reaction.
The Valley and Kin albums are both concept albums that follow each other. From the wiki. "Kin, like its predecessor The Valley, is a concept album based on frontman Phil Bozeman's traumatic childhood. Bozeman called the album "a fictional take on a non-fictional story." While The Valley was a retelling of the events of Bozeman's teen years and his parents' deaths, Kin talks of his struggle of accepting their deaths, with the personification of the struggle as an "evil self", a part of Bozeman's personality who cannot accept their absence."
Wassup brotha love the channel if u take suggestions "asyla-force restored" recent release from band out of Atlanta Georgia less then 2k subs on here but deserve some recognition
Brace yourself, new Whitechapel is coming and its said it is going to be reminiscent of their first 2 albums. If you havent listened to their early discography yet you are doing yourself a massive disservice. On the other hand, it might be wildly entertaining to see you react to their new stuff (when it comes out) totally blind as to what they used to sound like.
Thanks for giving your thoughts brother, appreciate you taking the time!
HOLY FACK!! BOZEUMS HIMSELF?!! WELL SHIT MY BRITCHES AND CALL ME SAUSAGE!! 🤘🤯
The legend commented!
I could totally feel the agony and pain in your voice. Masterpiece
Please bring back the heavy stuff
@@michaelwilson7820 Phil shared some teasers on his Instagram from the new album and trust me, it sounded heavy af lol.

Kin is a masterpiece for sure

I heard the teasers, it sounds really cool.
Still one of my favorite albums in the past like decade. Absolute masterpiece of an album.

This is one of my favorites! Being able to witness this band's evolution over the years has truly been a treat.
Like the contrast. Makes each style resonate more that one or the other straight through

Its a fucking perfect song. Kinda hard to pick a favorite between Anticure, I Will Find You or this one cuz all of them are fucking perfect!
If I had to name a favorite album of the last couple of years it’d have to be this. ❤ I’ve listened to all these songs countless times.
I'm your fan, I hope your channel reaches more than 1 million subscribers, you deserve it, friend, we're together I am from Brazil 🤘
Te Amo 🤘😝
When I first heard this album, I wasn’t a fan. Two years later, it’s one of my favorites. It really grew on me.

Well...I don't do album reviews...cuz it's WAY too much effort. But I'll be listening to it with a different perspective for sure
@@galacticriminalx do one more reaction review from one song that you haven’t done already and talk about what you thought about the album as a whole.
The last song "Kin" is one of my favorite all-time songs. Great vocal layering, killer solo, and just pure emotion!

i think the whole album is awesome but i will find you then this song together is a beautiful thing.
To the Wolves. Hands down. Arguably the heaviest track next to A Blood Soaked Symphony
This album was the first time I've actually heard Whitechapel and it was definitely my album of the year...sooo good
Whitechapel is simply as of late, an incrediblely epic experience
What a masterpiece ❤

I'm alone again, just what I'm used to ...... that hurts me alot not gonna lie.
You have to check out, Torn Soul "Unearthed" with Phil!
Bro new Termina featuring Kyle Anderson!
That fuckin jams.🤘😝 Musically, lyrically, simply. Period.
Better late then never... 😊 This album is epic, my favourite album for last decade.
Galatic react to the new Leo Moracchioli metal cover of Skyfall from Adelle the video launched today.
Really good band. Saw them a few years ago at this festival. Went into the pit. Came out battered and bruised. It was all worth it.
Agreed. Battered and Bruised is a sign of a good time! 🤘😝
So…
Even with the kinda cheesy dragon ball battle. This song and this video gave me major goosebumps. Mission accomplished boys! Good good shit
Can't believe thy art is murder album got pushed back till next week 😭😭. Still gunna be a good one tho ❤️❤️🔥🔥

Galactic Criminal, you red bearded emotional mess, I didn't know much about Whitechapel either, but holy moose, thanks for this little piece genius.
Has it seriously been two years since Kin released? Damn.
Haven't really listen to these guys. I'll have to give a second chance.

You never listened to Kin? 😢
What happened to bringing back the brutality?
