    RRR Movie Description:
    RRR is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language epic action drama film directed by S. S. Rajamouli, who wrote the film with V. Vijayendra Prasad. It was produced by D. V. V. Danayya of DVV Entertainment. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris. It centers around two real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), and their fight against the British Raj. Set in the 1920s, the plot explores the undocumented period in their lives when both the revolutionaries chose to go into obscurity before they began the fight for their country.
    Rajamouli came across stories about the lives of Rama Raju and Bheem and connected the coincidences between them, imagining what would have happened had they met, and been friends.
    Made on a budget of ₹550 crore ($72 million), RRR is the most expensive Indian film to date. The film was initially scheduled for theatrical release on 30 July 2020, which was postponed multiple times due to production delays and the pandemic. RRR was released theatrically on 25 March 2022, and received universal acclaim for Rajamouli's direction, cast performances (particularly Rama Rao and Charan), soundtrack, action sequences, cinematography, VFX, and writing. With ₹240 crore (US$30 million) worldwide on its first day, RRR broke the record for the highest opening-day collection earned by an Indian film. RRR emerged as the highest-grossing film in its home market of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, grossing over ₹415 crore (US$52 million) and surpassing Rajamouli's previous film Baahubali 2. The film grossed ₹1,200 crore (US$150-160 million) worldwide, setting several box office records for an Indian film, including the third-highest-grossing Indian film and second highest-grossing Telugu film worldwide. RRR was nominated in three categories at the 47th Saturn Awards and won the Best International Film award.

    Edit: You all really took this video way too damn serious. You all made it seem like I was picking on this movie when I wasn't. It's like barely any of yall got a sense of humor. I understand we're from different cultures. But there are some things that should just be common sense. Got people bitching and crying at me about me laughing at the action like I thought it was funny. I didn't think it was funny, I laugh when I get Hype. If yall watch any other video of me watching an action movie, yall would see that. Yall acting like yall never got hype or excited about something before. It's a normal damn emotion and reaction. You smile or laugh or cheer. You all completely misunderstood this video, and it is sad.

    This is a perfect example of how americans don't know any close relationship other than a romantic one. For them, every type of touch has a romantic tone - especially between males.

    • @legendswarble2845
      @legendswarble2845 Год назад +36

      Part of that, I think, is that there used to be very strict mandates enforced by law in America to prevent anything that could be considered queer so men couldn't even touch in some films or shows. Now, us Americans are really sensitive to that stuff because of the lingering affects. It's still hard to have close same gender friendships in media without having to "No homo" it. As if it would be bad if it was 🙄. We're slowly getting there, having a mix of friendships and romances and healthier attitudes about an open expression of caring, especially among men

    • @celestinebuendia
      @celestinebuendia Год назад +12

      In my opinion, it’s actually a positive thing to interpret close same-sex relationships as possibly romantic with EQUAL frequency as you would opposite-sex ones. That’s just breaking down biases, and if it doesn’t turn out that way, no harm done. Especially when queer relationships still have a long way to go representation-wise in India, it never hurts to hope.
      Saying that Americans interpret everything as romantic “especially between males” is so false because of widespread homophobia. Considering the possibility that two men are in love is really too much of a rarity among the general public.

    • @chaitanyapatel1946
      @chaitanyapatel1946 Год назад +19

      @@celestinebuendia Romantic relationship is a very personal thing. It should never be a default assumption without strong evidence(s). Co-ed friendships are uncommon in India solely because people assume a romantic tone between every cross gender friendship, and that puts people in a very defensive position in their approach to such friendships. Doing the same for same-gender friendship would be detrimental to social health of the society.

    Few easter eggs and fun facts of RRR:
    1) Both the characters Raju and Bheem were inspired from 2 real indian freedom fighters and revolutionists from indian history, Alluri seeta rama raju from andhra pradesh and Komuram bheem from telangana, ie, from the two telugu speaking states, in history both of them Raju and bheem were from same timeline but never met each other in reality, in original history they both went missing for 4 years during this 1920 time period, no one knows where they went and what they did, but after 4 years they both returned to their villages and fought their own fights and both sacrificed their lives for our country, Director rajamouli hv woven a fictional story that what happens if they met each other, and exchange their ideas and ideologies in the time period they went missing... That's how this movie was born.... This movie is about India's freedom from british rule, this movie was about friendship between 2 states...
    2) When bahubali was released many people began to nitpick about small things in the movie, they began to look for flaws, one such flaw which was pointed out by many people is the iconic scene where prabhas makes the huge jump in the waterfall, many pointed out that he should take a run up to make such a huge jump, instead he just jumps from the edge, thats the reason y in RRR When ram and bheem meet for the 1st time, to rescue the kid under the bridge while they jump down the bridge they take a run up in rajamouli style with a horse n a bike🤣🤣 guess what rajamouli learns from his mistakes, even in the same scene we can see ram charan takes a flag dips it in the water n makes it wet before he throws it to jr NTR, so that when jr NTR wraps it around it won't catch fire 🔥🔥... The imagination n brilliance of rajamouli sir🔥🔥 Respect👍👍
    3) Unlike many other indian movies which involve english actors, in RRR we find the performances of english actors far better, that's because rajamouli approached professionals, the one who played Scott is "Ray Stevenson" one who acted in "Thor" movies, one who played lady Scott is "Alison doody" the lead actress from indiana jones....
    4) The sets u can see in nacho nacho or naatu naatu song, the palace behind is actually President's palace in Ukraine..After finishing the movie n returning to india, war was started in ukraine....
    5) When ram captures bheem's clan member, he catches a snake n attacks ram even though he is tied, that man catching the snake is justified coz they r gond tribals, they know everything abt every animal, how to trap and catch them, n how to treat animal attacks using natural ayurvedic remedies, since they were born n brought up in jungle along with those animals n plants, that's how even jr NTR is able to tame n control the animals during interval sequence....
    6) That song jr NTR sings while being whipped "komaram bheemudo", *few* non indian and north indian audience may find the song lil distasteful because they r unaware of the importance of the song, the gond tribe (the telangana people) who faced many tortures under the nijam rule, hv developed a habit of singing folklore songs explaining their pain n oppression for years, these songs kind of made those people stronger n revolt against nijams, similarly at the end of the song people revolt, even now a days these songs r famous in Telangana area, we andhra n telangana people r familiar with such songs, but north indian n non indian audience may not hv any idea abt it, even the song komaram bheemudo was written by one of the famous revolutionary singer from telangana area, if u concentrate on the lyrics of the song we can feel the oppression his people r facing....
    7) the subtext or easter egg about the "Barbed whip" that lady scott threw to torture jr NTR is that in the climax when the Scott's empire blows up when lady scott died we can see her body hanging in "Barbed wires" implying that she finally got what she deserved.... "karma is a bitch"🤭🤭🤣
    8) near the climax when jr NTR knocks on the floor to find ram who was imprisoned in the ground, he actually knocks the same beats of Nacho Nacho song, so that only ram charan could recognise it's him rather than other possible prisoners, ram charan also reciprocates by knocking the same beat of nacho nacho, even in the earlier scene when ram charam is bit by snake he plays the same beats to communicate with jr NTR, the cinematic brilliance of rajamouli for using a song in so many ways giving easter eggs all the way around is lit🔥🔥🔥 hatsoff to rajamouli 🙏
    9) In a scene where they show the security measures of the palace they had 2 doors at entrance, only after closing the 1st door they will open 2nd door, if we observe both the doors clearly and also if we listen to the creek sounds of both doors, we would know the outer door is a wooden one, and the inner door is a metal one, so to rescue malli they can break the outer door but they can't break the inner door, that's the reason y the character jhangu climbs a tree and listens for the 2nd door to open to rescue malli in interval scene... Every small detail in this movie is well planned and well executed...
    10) the scene about bheem carrying ram in the climax sequence may seem a bit overemphasized, but even earlier in the film in dosti song there was a shot giving easter eggs, where we can see jr ntr doing squats on the ground lifting ram charan, then ram charan does pull ups holding a tree branch, this way rajamouli is planting an idea subconsciously to his audience that jr ntr got lower body strength n ram charan got upper body strength... So that audience get convinced during the climax scene where bheem carries ram... Even the scene seems physically impossible, rajamouli never hesitates to show his ideas n imaginations in the most convincing way possible, that scene may be impossible but u could never find any other director pulling of such a scene in any film like rajamouli... Respect....
    11) The same way In climax fight sequence bheem lifting a bike looks over the top for sure, but do u know those bikes were actually used during second world war time so that in any unforeseen situation during war the soldiers can actually carry the bikes, those bikes weight around 55kgs only, i agree that even 55 kg bike travelling at 50kmph velocity is difficult to be lifted... But look at the way it was imagined, presented, picturized, the mesmerising cinematography in that scene, the kind of goosebumps it gave us, we should watch the movie for its epicness, rather than being nitpicky about everything....
    12) At the climax that transformation of ram charan🔥🔥, many people thought that was sree ram's avatar, there are many indian purana's references to the movie for sure but its not only sree ram's avatar, it is also about the original look of Alluri seeta rama raju (the freedom fighter ram charan was playing), alluri seeta rama raju in history was well learnt man who wears those kashayam clothes fights with bow n arrows, probably the best archer india has ever had, he fought against britishers he got weapons n guns by attacking police stations n british camps, he used the same weapons to attack britishers with his trusted men... Even he was shot dead by britishers in the freedom struggle... Legend says that britishers put around 100 bullets in his body n ruthlessly killed him... At the end of the film rajamouli showed ram n bheem in their original looks ram wearing kashayam clothes, with long hair n beard, bheem with a pagdi on his head n those clothes gond people used to wear...
    13) the final RRR fact, For the interval sequence with animals rajamouli shot for around 65 nights, each night they spent around 75lakhs for the shoot itself... In that interval sequence they had to imagine animals were there n fight accordingly, for that to happen n so that each n every background artist to be in sync with the CG animals rajamouli employed different tactics while shooting which were not even used in Hollywood movies,
    a) for bear they used a person wearing green blanket, since the movement of bear is slow similar to a human being...
    b)For shots with tiger, tiger moves much faster than humans, so they can't just place a human with green blanket, so rajamouli positioned laser lights following the head position of the tiger, so that camera man n actors can imagine the position of tiger n act accordingly.
    c) for wolves they used dogs which were trained to catch a ball, while shooting the sequence they randomly throw the balls in middle of men, so the dogs chase the balls, in that way rajamouli captured peoples reactions to wolves, later on during CG he replaced the dogs with wolves...
    d) for other fast moving animals like deers, they used remote controlled cars moving in between the actors....

    The greatest thing about the RRR movie is its symbolism, it's like "This is America song" where in front of your eyes entertainment is happening but behind the scenes a true story is hidden.
    S. S. Rajamouli being a thousand IQ Genius which he is RRR film connected with everyone because it's Ramayan wrapped under a modern cinema, like Rajamouli sir said watch and understand movie through visuals, it's connected to its mythological or Indian roots, also movie is symbolic it has far more that 100 references which is crazy, I accidentally ignored the movie thinking meh this is just another O.T.T. movie but when it was praised by the entire world, I watched the movie once again with a clear mind.
    I saw references of steam revolution like Ram fire Bheem water creating steam and steam revolution was during 19's and steam-powered engines back then so when Ram and Bheem ran together it powered the steam train that they were running together with.
    Also, the whole Ramayan reference, Sita praying in front of Rama and Sita idols, she giving him the locket like Sita in Ramayan gave her ring to Hanuman to give it to Ram, but they reversed it in the movie since Ram in movie is in prison and Sita is waiting for him whilst Hanuman/Bheem goes to save him.
    Sita feeding Hanuman during his return from Lanka to Ram and Hanumam promising that he will surely return with Shree ram and rescue you, just like that in reverse movie showing Sita feeding Bheem and him promising to keep Rama safe and rescue him with his life.
    Vahan which fought alongside god's in Hinduism like Shree Ganesh having mouse as his vahan, Nandi was Vahan of Shankar, and all the monkeys fighting in Ramayan also Jatayu in Ramayan trying to stop Ravana from kidnapping Sita mata, and so to give reference to this mad lad S. S. Rajamouli made Bheem use all the animals during invasion scene.
    As well as there is a reference of Andman Nicobar island cells which empire created for kaala pani where ram was kept and all the Bhartiya revolutionaries were kept there.
    The whole bridge scene where Bheem exchanged child to Ram and took Rams flag which symbolizes Bheem after understanding Ram's mission to gather weapons to empower the nation and its people, which ironically told the entire plot of the movie in a single scene.
    Also, there is one reference to Hanuman taking Lakshman and Ram to help Sugreev defeat Vali on his shoulders. In movie instead, Bheem takes Ram on shoulders and does push-ups but also breaks outs from cells by fighting the battle together like that.
    Jenny is a reference to Vibhishan, who was also on the enemy side, but after seeing good in Bheem's heart, she Joined Ram and Bheem, similar to that in Ramayan Vibhishan joined Ram.
    Another reference where Ram is bitten by a snake and almost dying and Bheem saving him with some ancient tribal cure, which is reference to Hanuman bringing a mountain of whole anjani buti for Lakshman.
    When Ram was whipping Bheem that song was a reference to a small story under Ramayan which most of the people have forgotten about, once Naradmuni was thinking whether Ram is bigger or his name, so he told Hanuman to greet everyone but Vishawamitra, and Hanuman did so accordingly.
    Vishawamitra after seeing this was furious and ordered Rama his disciple to punish Hanuman, Then Rama went and showered Hanuman with arrows but Hanuman was saying Rama's name and chanting his names mantra so Hanuman was ineffective with every single arrow that was shot at him, Rama even used Bramhaastra against Hanuman but it didn't work and thus the Rama's name was bigger, in this scene pavanputra as in son of the wind is carassed by wind and leaf like its child which is also a reference to the hindu mythology.
    (Since Bheem by name is a character from Mahabharat epic but Bheem in this movie is Hanuman, because both are Vayuputra or Pawanputra in Hindu mythology and Hanuman even helped Bheem in Bheem's story) Ram beats bheem under Scott's order, which is reference to Vishwamitra ordering Shree Ram.
    And even when Shree Ram didn't want to harm Hanuman/Bheem with whips and Bheem was unaffected by whips because he was singing, thus chanting mantra reference in this scene.
    Bheem breaking the rope is reference to Sita's sawaymwar where lord Rama broke the bow in the stead of Sita's father and all the assembly which was also a flex of power.
    Also Malli's kidnapping by scott perhaps also symbolises kiddnapping of Sita by Raavan
    During the beginning of the movie when Ram and Bheem's friendship begins you can see them holding rach others forearms and when they run together, together with their power steam is created which is why they were running with a steam train but when they are divided during Bheem's invasion of palace, Ram and Bheem's element get separated and their friendship is hanging by a thread.
    Also just like real life Ram Alluri or Sitarama Raju gathered weapons and after his lovers death he roamed around with saffrom robes with quiver of arrows and bow in jungles killing britishers to gather their weapons and give it to empower Bhartiya common wealth and revolutionaries, and also in the movie Ram joins empire because his father told him to collect weapons to empower revolutionaries, is like Ram taking Sanyas because his father told him to and Ram repspecting his father's choice. One day when Ram Alluri was praying to the god, Britishers unethically murdered him.
    Bheem was maybe from gond tribe and he wore robes of momedians by pretending to them and taunted Britishers and momedians who were antinationals and from mughal ancestry who helped britishers to kill indians so Bheem taunted them lured them to gorest and killed them with his tribe but I don't know how he died and how or how much of info that I wrote about both is trustable but yeah one of the momedian community was helping britishers and they were anti nationals so Bheem fought against them and killed them but since I read nothing about these two revolutionaries
    - That's all I could gather from the movie, also Bheem and Rama Alluri who were revolutionaries in real life fought their separate battles in separate states, but I know little about them because my school never thought me about these two legends in northern part of the Bharat, this movie introduced these legends to me and I'm ever grateful for that.

Ram picks the flag to indicate he's saving the country and Akhtar picks the boy to show that he's mission was the young girl only for both of them them hold hands in the middle to showcase what the central bond will become in the end.

And Rama dressed liked that statue (idol from where he gets his 🏹) of ancient Indian Rama. You should read the lyrics of song playing in background music in last forest battle. @@Indiegirl007 Actually, this movie is more about friendship rather than a revolution. Ofcourse, revolution is a backdrop, but not the core purpose of the movie. The core of the movie is about friendship between two Telugu speaking states in India (Telangana State, where Bheem is from and Andhra Pradesh State where Raju is from). Before 2014, these two states used to be united (one state, also called Andhra Pradesh, but we refer that to United Andhra Pradesh now after bifurcation). Due to some political and other differences, the United Andhra Pradesh got bifurcated into Telangana and Andhra Pradesh back in 2014. There was a lot of angst and resentment among people from two "new" states after this bifurcation. This movie is basically the director's way of saying "People from both these Telugu speaking states always will be brothers". Even most Indians from other states didn't pick up this part, so I wouldn't blame anyone for not understanding the primary purpose of the movie.

    She's not his sister btw. They were promised to each other so she's calling rams father. She's his cousin from his mothers side, it was acceptable back then to marry their cousin only cousins but these days they don't marry at all. Weird times back then.

    54:57 in the time of British ruling::: bikes weights are around 65-80 kgs , British soldiers were carried their bikes with them ( you can google it )
    So director Rajamouli created that bike lifting scene . Don’t judge without information
