Cheers for this, I have been researching "face firming exercises" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Jenrooklyn Facial Mummification - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my mate got cool results with it.
These excercises really work!!! I have been doing them for 3 weeks along with rubbing out the wrinkle, and exfoliation. My right laugh line wrinkle has filled in over 70% and my cheek has lifted a bit the left side was the worst and I spent more time on this side now I have to work on the left side. My 15 year old son also does these excercises, he inherited this week muscle from me. :( .

I love the fact that you don't need to think doing these. You can easily do them while cleaning up or cooking. You also don't need your hands, they stay clean and free and the pose isn't even very awkward. You can easily do it everywhere and it's very easy to understand. And I think it also makes the lips fuller. Thank you! ❤
I'm surprised at all the stretch mark comments--like how much air are you holding in your mouth??? You don't have to push super hard, just feel a little stretch. I guess it works different for everyone. Anyway, I came here to say I've had great success with these exercises. I am only 24 and started to notice my nasolabial folds, and little indentations at the corners of my mouth after smiling. I wasn't sure if face yoga would do anything, but I figured it was easy and didn't take a lot of time, so I'd give it a go. I do it when I'm driving, standing in front of a mirror, bored, whatever. A few weeks later the folds are less pronounced and those indentations have gone away. Thanks a lot, I'm going to try some others!
im guessing it made blood rush to those areas so theyll puff out, but once the rush is done they settle back in, it only lasted for maybe an hr or 2 and i did it like 20 times
Same I'm 15 and have them it could be worse but it kills my self confidence that I don't have fresh youthful face like most girls my age even older. I think I have them because of sun damage as I used to live in Florida when I was younger. But I don't think there is any going back we just gotta make the best of it.
You are still young and starting the face exercise now can really benefit you! Wish I knew what I know now :) Keep practicing and let me know the progress.

It depends on how often you practice and the area that you are working on. So It is like body exercise. Some people get results faster and more dramatically and others take more time but either way the exercises are preventative
After suffering from perioral dermatitis around my mouth very bad laugh lines developed and I was so damn insecure about it.. And I was desperately searching for remedies to get rid of it.. Thats how I came across this video & just thought of giving it a try and trust me guys it definitely works ❤ its been only 4-5 days since ive started doing it and the improvement is visible.. 😍😍 Im sure if I religiously continue to do it ill finally be able to get rid of it!!! I still can't say it completely removed my laugh lines but now its barely visible and thats actually a great thing for me!! :)

it's enough if you do it when you first wake up to kind of "wake up" your face muscles, and then before going to bed. one or two sets of this will definitely be okay as you never really use these muscles (you'll probably feel it after one set) so this is enough to get results. :)
I stopped doing this because I was worried working out your nasolobial folds will make them more prominent, but if you ever lifted anything EVER in your life, you'll notice your muscles will quiver when they are weak and overworked. This goes away when the muscles get stronger, but you might be overworking them as well, if this becomes a problem just do this exercise less strenuously.

It works and does not make your cheeks bigger. It is like ironing your lines from behind. Imagine the wrinkles on your laundry... You want to iron and press the lines and its the same concept.
You can do everyday, once a day is good. Take "before" "after" photos too since it is hard to see the changes objectively unless you see your face in the photos! let me know your progress.

Hi Fumiko! Really admire Your work, and I'm greatfull for what I' ve already got from You. At the moment I'm trying to create a "training plan" for me from Your exercises. The target area is nasolabial folds, but I wolud like to include in it all basic areas. The problem is time. You've said that best would be to practice twice a day. Would it be better to practice all the areas twice a day (just less time each exercise), or should I rather devide them and practice part in the morning, other in the evening, or maybe different areas every second day? Hi, I've been following you and getting into the face yoga method lately as definitely this seems to me like the real way to slow down aging (I am also a fitness freak for my body so it fits me real nice). Thanks so much for sharing with you your knowledge ! But while I do the exercises I see I create wrinkles, for example blowing the air in one cheek my mouth goes into the other direction wrinkling the skin. Also , stretching a sheet of paper for example, releasing it you would notice it has more folds. Doesn't it work the same way for the skin or my general question and worry is : how come do we not create even more wrinkles folding and stretching the skin ? Thanks a lot !
This is why I don't do face yoga. Bc stretching and pulling on your skin is not going to make it tighter. It's going to make it looser. It's common sense when you think about it. Stretching anything will not make it tighter. It will make it less firm. To truly anti-age you need something that's going to make your skin tighten. Based on my own personal research it seems that skin tightens when a certain amount of heat is applied to it. Look up videos of CO2 Fractional Lasers. You can literally see the skin tightening in some videos when the laser hits it. I don't believe this laser treatment is the answer tho. Bc the results I've seen are nothing crazy. The craziest anti-aging results I've seen are from chemical peels. The most dramatic results coming from Phenol chemical peel. Look up "Phenol chemical peel before and after" on google. You will be shocked. Only downside is this procedure is risky because it can be potentially fatal. People have died during it. Overall I think finding the right laser treatment as well as a great chemical peel that isn't high risk is the best way to go.
If you try it out you will feel the muscles already getting tighter. It's not so much loose skin that causes wrinkles, but the gradual atrophy and subsequent sinking of facial muscles.
@@BlueRain508 exactly. I would also recommend watching Basia "Cukier" Wladkowska's video about this very topic. She has a video that explains very well what contributes to the aging factors of our face. In short: it's the shortening of our facial muscles so our skin has less to stretch over - the consequence is droopy or loose skin. The solution is tightening and elongating the facial muscles with massage and exercise.
if you stretch your cheeks that way you'll get stretch marks on your face and it will look like wrinkles, trust me don't do this please, i've done it, you can even find my old comment when i first saw this video i had no idea if this was helpful or not but now when a stretch mark appeared on the side of my mouth i understood it's because i was doing these exercises. i don't know, maybe it works for some people but i feel really sad now and to get rid of it i'm gonna get some laser treatments that are exremly expensive:(

i think rubbing your face upwards is more logic. it helps your skin from sagging. but this exercize really didn't work for me. i never had any skin problems, i just heard that if you do these now at young age you'll not get nasobal folds later so i started to doing these at the shower, before sleep, almost everytime i had time and then i noticed those things exactly on that area. i don't try to tell you that this woman is lying because her other tips doesn't seem bad at all, but this one just didn't work and it's really not worth it. i still have those things on my face and not even water or good moistruizes helped me:) in some lights i look sad or angry and they are NOT wrinkles i'm only 22 and it doesn't look like deep wrinkle/lines. it looks like holes and face depressions probably from stretching.

V free creams won’t make the muscle tighter. Creams are only good for the skin.

The exercise pushes the nasolabial fold lines out as if you are getting an iron on the lines from inside!

It works and does not make your cheeks bigger. It is like ironing your lines from behind. Imagine the wrinkles on your laundry... You want to iron and press the lines and its the same concept.

I don't have this yet, but it doesn't hurt to be proactive about it.
You can do everyday, once a day is good. Take "before" "after" photos too since it is hard to see the changes objectively unless you see your face in the photos! let me know your progress.

Hi Fumiko! Really admire Your work, and I'm greatfull for what I' ve already got from You. At the moment I'm trying to create a "training plan" for me from Your exercises. The target area is nasolabial folds, but I wolud like to include in it all basic areas. The problem is time. You've said that best would be to practice twice a day. Would it be better to practice all the areas twice a day (just less time each exercise), or should I rather devide them and practice part in the morning, other in the evening, or maybe different areas every second day? Maybe it's a silly question, but I'm perfectionist :). Hope You'll answer. - Marta -

Hi, I've been following you and getting into the face yoga method lately as definitely this seems to me like the real way to slow down aging (I am also a fitness freak for my body so it fits me real nice). Thanks so much for sharing with you your knowledge ! But while I do the exercises I see I create wrinkles, for example blowing the air in one cheek my mouth goes into the other direction wrinkling the skin. Also , stretching a sheet of paper for example, releasing it you would notice it has more folds. Doesn't it work the same way for the skin or my general question and worry is : how come do we not create even more wrinkles folding and stretching the skin ? Thanks a lot !

Moisturizer and oils helps, I also found you can do it with lips relaxed a bit. Not as strong of a force but it may help.
This is why I don't do face yoga. Bc stretching and pulling on your skin is not going to make it tighter. It's going to make it looser. It's common sense when you think about it. Stretching anything will not make it tighter. It will make it less firm. To truly anti-age you need something that's going to make your skin tighten. Based on my own personal research it seems that skin tightens when a certain amount of heat is applied to it. Look up videos of CO2 Fractional Lasers. You can literally see the skin tightening in some videos when the laser hits it. I don't believe this laser treatment is the answer tho. Bc the results I've seen are nothing crazy. The craziest anti-aging results I've seen are from chemical peels. The most dramatic results coming from Phenol chemical peel. Look up "Phenol chemical peel before and after" on google. You will be shocked. Only downside is this procedure is risky because it can be potentially fatal. People have died during it. Overall I think finding the right laser treatment as well as a great chemical peel that isn't high risk is the best way to go.
If you try it out you will feel the muscles already getting tighter. It's not so much loose skin that causes wrinkles, but the gradual atrophy and subsequent sinking of facial muscles.
@@BlueRain508 exactly. I would also recommend watching Basia "Cukier" Wladkowska's video about this very topic. She has a video that explains very well what contributes to the aging factors of our face. In short: it's the shortening of our facial muscles so our skin has less to stretch over - the consequence is droopy or loose skin. The solution is tightening and elongating the facial muscles with massage and exercise.

if you stretch your cheeks that way you'll get stretch marks on your face and it will look like wrinkles, trust me don't do this please, i've done it, you can even find my old comment when i first saw this video i had no idea if this was helpful or not but now when a stretch mark appeared on the side of my mouth i understood it's because i was doing these exercises. i don't know, maybe it works for some people but i feel really sad now and to get rid of it i'm gonna get some laser treatments that are exremly expensive:(
Thanks for sharing, best of luck. Although the op doesn't seem to have them, so each body does react differently. Maybe ppl should apply good moisturizer first, and/or do them in the shower

i think rubbing your face upwards is more logic. it helps your skin from sagging. but this exercize really didn't work for me. i never had any skin problems, i just heard that if you do these now at young age you'll not get nasobal folds later so i started to doing these at the shower, before sleep, almost everytime i had time and then i noticed those things exactly on that area. i don't try to tell you that this woman is lying because her other tips doesn't seem bad at all, but this one just didn't work and it's really not worth it.
i still have those things on my face and not even water or good moistruizes helped me:) in some lights i look sad or angry and they are NOT wrinkles i'm only 22 and it doesn't look like deep wrinkle/lines. it looks like holes and face depressions probably from stretching.
